Given that Saban is going to coach another 10 years they probably don’t really care

TBH you should be thanking this retard who was one of many shitty coaches hired by Mike Sheila

The idiot in the picture asked the player in your pic to play a position OT he wasnt capable of.,

Later on that same player made it to the final cut in the NFL as a OG

Mal Moore is no longer with us, and the current guy knows where to find a good coach.

Yeah, Greg Byrne was very seriously considered for Pac 12 commissioner. Alabama has an embarrassment of riches.

Maybe Bill Curry would agree to come back. That worked out so well before.

That may very well be true, and the guy in the photo was certainly a shitty coach, but Saban wasn't able to find any position he was capable of playing.

Even his official Alabama bio cuts off after 2006 with no apparent signficant participation as a senior in 2007. Even when starting OG Marlon Davis was suspended the morning of the Tennessee game as one of the Textbook Five, BJ Stabler got the start instead, even though he was battling knee issues.

Clemson is showing that Dabo needs a generational QB to perform at an elite level. If he can’t win with a game manager at QB like Saban has done, he can just go ahead and languish in the ACC.

Agree......Saban will be at Alabama for at least that long.

I think we're lucky if Saban stays 5 more years.

Yeah, he's in good health now, but that can drop off the cliff quickly in a 70 year old. A heart attack or hell even a bad case of pneumonia can decimate a 70 year old.

Plus, I'd be willing to bet that he an Mrs. Terry have already had conversations somewhere along the lines of "Hey, once you achieve X goal, it's time to put hang it up"

He never was an "heir". Dabo's personally doesn't fit the "Alabama Image".

Interesting. I wonder why there is nothing from his senior year in his bio.

Definitely. Dabo is done.

A true blessing for Bama.

I think Jimbo is their man when Saban finally hangs it up or dies in the saddle.

That would actually be a homerun hire.

I kind of said this on the first page. The contract will be long just to ease any retirement talk. but I think he hangs his whistle up around that time frame as well. He has two grand kids now. I think the Mrs will tell him when its time. I dont think she wants to see him go out like the bear without spending some retirement with him

If UA wanted a 4-5 loss HC that gets beat by all his big rivals and just wants to be the QB coach they would have never fired Mike Sheila

If Bama wants a hyped up clown who dresses up as Darth Vader after a humiliating loss, tries to start a fan riot on the field and has a kissy face wife who loves smooching up his players Dandy Dan is the man for you

He was never heir to anything at Alabama, If we were looking for heirs we would look a Saban's coaching tree, but I think we learned our lesson from the Bear's tree and we will get the best we can
