Alabama has never claimed a National Championship; we have always been given a Championship by various news services. The vast majority, since 1936, have been API or UPI.

Lane gave Ole Miss the best years in its history. Now, he is in pursuit of his dream job, which may be at LSU. This is what happens when you are not a blue blood and you hire a great coach; it's not fair, but it is reality, and it is predictable. You've had a wonderful year, and I've been pulling for you.

This is the best rationale for Notre Dame joining a major conference, where they know the quality will be there whenever
If Ty Simpson is injured, should Bama drop like FSU? It really doesn't matter; we shouldn't have been in. We are a soft team that breaks down when we play talent, we're non-aggressive and try to win on trick plays, rather than go out and dominate as Alabama should
With or without Ty Simpson, we should not be in the CFP
