If thats the case then honestly I'm not sure there is another option.

Even though he would be my personal choice for selfish reasons, he still needs to get over the hump at Oregon. Beating Ohio State is a big step in the right direction he has more talent than the other Pac 12 schools and needs to treat those programs in a bad way

Kiffin will NEVER be the head coach at Alabama. I like Kiffin, but Alabama would never have him.

Using it as a recruiting tool at every turn comes off as insincere. No different than what most people felt about Hugh Freeze.

He has 2 losses 4 games in. This could be an ugly season.

He's about to get #3 next week vs Boston College.

frick Dabo with his religious angle and his “Lil ol Clemson” crap and his overall cheesy shite. Home boy or not, I don’t want him as HC.

Don't rule Sark out completely yet. Every week the loss to Arkansas looks less damning. He inherited a soft team and a soft culture. Let's see what he does going forward, especially against Oklahoma in a couple of weeks.

Even Saban had a 2 loss season a few years ago.

Saban's first year is why I'm not writing Sark off yet. Offensively, I prefer him over Kiffin. But both need to show me they can win big games.

I dont disagree entirely, I'm absolutely not burying Sark as a HC yet. But I think Bama will want someone thats more established and has had more success as a HC already. If Saban retires in 5 years, maybe Sark has done enough. If its 2 or 3, I don't think they go for it.

He had a good run but he’s not built for the long haul.

Really? He’s been at Clemson for 13 years, and has done quite well for most of them.

Jim Leonhard
Jason Candle
Matt Rhule (seems unlikely by the game)
Bill O'Brien

I like 'em from the Midwest.

Not disagreeing. Even with 2-3 years left, anything can happen with those three guys. Cristobal has had some success, but it's been spotty. I don't really give him much credit for last year...getting into a conference championship game with a 3-2 record? He's had some big wins...at Ohio State for example. He also lost to two shitty teams last year. In year 3, he shouldn't be losing to Cal and Oregon State. This could be a big year...or not. What he does the next two years is anybody's guess.

Same with Kiffin. He might become the first former assistant to beat Saban on Saturday, win the West, and get into the playoffs. Or, he could do God knows what. He's Lane Kiffin.
