I really feel that the 2022 team just had some really bad coaching at the coordinator level. Tons of penalties and just felt messy, was not a trademark of a Saban coached team.

I agree. I don’t think Kane could’ve handled it differently at the time, but this does show a respect issue in my opinion.

It wasn’t and people will say it’s Sabans age but I honestly think it’s more of a cultural shift and it was time for him to step down. I like DeBoer and his demeanor is so different than Sabans BUt he is going to have to find a happy medium between screaming like a maniac on the side line and losing kids and being a door mat.

It will be interesting to see how DeBoer handles all of this.

Winning games has always been fairly easy for him, but he's never been at this level with this much scrutiny and pressure.

He could fold and be fired in a few years, decide it's too much and jump to the NFL, or get it fixed and be an all time great coach.

Agreed, that bitch arse is probably making more money this year then most students at the university will make in their first 10 years combined. To sit out there and do all that because another team whipped you up and down the field, that's just next level embaressing.

Perhaps normalizing not idolizing these sub 90 IQ morons who happen to play football well.

For every one Myron Rolle (Rhodes Scholar FSU All American Safety) there’s about 500 Malachi Moores who literally cannot put a full grammatically correct sentence together. Throw in accolades, universal praise, and now money and you’ve got yourself a pretty horrible human being.

Trash.
He should be suspended if not booted. He has no respect for Deboer.

Also, take off Teague's number.

I honestly don’t know how he didn’t get flagged for the additional head shove after the whistle. It’s cheap, but okay, it happens.

Kicking the ball. He needs to be subbed.

Arguing with the DC refusing to go out, he needs to be listed as injured and not play the next game. Along with so many bleachers he has time to reflect on his actions.

THIS

Dude is a 23 year old grown adult. Stop treating these people like they are children and hold them responsible and maybe they will stop acting like children.

I agree. MM is a grown man getting paid, he shouldn’t see the field for the next game.

Be kind of neat if any NIL contracts had some kind of Conduct or Morals clause that could result in fining or termination of contract.

Temper tamptrum and no accountability

Damien Harris said it best. Had that happened under Saban, the other team leaders would have ripped that C off his jersey.

I'll be pretty disappointed if he dresses out on Saturday. DeBoer needs to set a tone. Don't care if these young men are getting paid millions in many cases, there still has to be a hierarchy of control.

It wasn’t just at the end of the game. He was chirping and overly aggressive the entire game. Prison yard posturing after every play he was in on. I noticed it in the first quarter. Possibly on something.

Damien Harris said back when he was there, they would have ripped the “C” off of his jersey.

He was and I didn’t realize he was arguing with Womack but the fact he did and Womack walked back to the sideline with his tail between his legs tells me a lot.

I’m old school, in seventies. Watched Joe Namath, Kenny Stabler play etc etc.. College ball today for the big schools is big business. It’s not about education for most. Its getting an immediate big payday and for a few, a shot at the NFL and a life changing payday.

These kids just a few short years ago had to buy into the coaching and program or they were gone. Saban was the master at intimidation and manipulation with this kids. Not today. Today, players make money and feel extremely entitled imho. Coaches are making embarrassing amounts of money. Everyone associated with big time college ball are making insane amounts.

Kalen DeBoer has a guaranteed contract that will pay him life changing amounts whether he coaches another day if they fire him. None of these head coaches in DeBoers class care what you and I say about them.

That being the case, DeBoer and all these coaches are like NFL coaches. They have to coach by being cheerleaders and motivators and good x and o coaches but not judges and sheriffs.

So far, DeBoer is a great cheerleader. His personality and style does not motivate me or cause me to fear him or have Uber respect. He seems like the type you can walk all over. Also, not impressed with his in game adjustments. His x and o’s I give hi praise and offensively Bama is putting points on the board.

Being in an NFL city, I follow and like the NFL game. The college game is now NFL lite. It will take a different mentality to win as compared to Coach Saban. There was a reason Saban left Miami and retired when he did. Old school college ball is dead.

So, am I upset about Losing to Vandy? Yes, but this will become the norm all over big college ball. In the NFL, you don’t expect to win every game. Sometimes for no logical reason, your team gets blown out. Then, the next week they look like a superbowl caliber team. It’s called parity. That is what Nil, pay for play etc is doing to college ball.

So Deboer, I hope you and your staff will call a good game this weekend against South Carolina and the team will be more motivated.
