I had a very similar situation / experience with a professor while in college in California for a semester when I was in my 20’s, Except I received a D, instead of an F after I debated the point of my thesis with my instructor. At least I got a D I suppose.
Kiffin has not probably had a chance to talk with him.

Not sure why anyone would down vote your statement, there is nothing you said that is not true.
Evangel offense looked so gimmicky. QB was literally running for his life most games so it was difficult to really tell how good or bad he really is this game.
