What is it about this fanbase’s obsession with blatant theatrical panderers?

I spell his dad’s name correctly.
He deserves respect.
I think Lane is a spoiled trolling con artist.
He makes really dumb choices in games.
There is a weird social media/fan obsession with him that is way beyond his success.

What exactly do you base a football hire on?
Record?
Experience?
Statistical success on the field?
None of that is opinion.
Opinion is…”I think he is funny on Twitter.”

1. You are bad at math.
2. The things you like about Kiffen have nothing to do with successful football coaching.

Today I learned they watch “Land man” in London..
Advert on a double decker that goes by in the middle of all this foolishness.

It’s like watching deleted scenes from “Oh brother, where art thou?”.

Wouldn’t we rather Ole Miss pay 15 million a year for 112-53 than LSU?
Maybe it’s just me.

1. The people in charge are going to screw up this coaching hire.
2. I will inevitably start a kool aid iv regardless of who it is.
Are you guys like this?
Cfb is wack.

112-53
Yay.
Yay.

Sure.
But the guy everyone is enamored with…
Who LSU will have to break the bank for…
Is career 112-53.
If you are mad at Woodward for the Kelly contract but your favorite option is Joey frickin Freshwater, you are contradicting yourself.

Anyone after watching woody actually build the nil model for every other program in college sports wanting him fired needs a lobotomy.

There are 3 distinct types of LSU football fans, some have subgroups:
1. Knowledgeable football fans who understand situations and reality.
2. People who succumb to moment by moment negative results and overreact over any injury/call/philosophy
3. People with zero understanding of any football related reality.
3a. Orgeron fans
Kelly is losing all three.
His bullshite coach speak/lying is losing group one.
LSU has written the book on nli and how to hire positions relative to that so much that other teams are using the position names when LSU was the first.
I believe it’s mostly Woody who had the plan but Kelly was here when it happened and deserves credit also.
If anyone argues against that they are in group 2 or 3.
We are learning in real time of deficiencies in coach hires and game planning on Kelly’s part. This is troubling.
But I have a mostly positive outlook on the future because the groundwork was so elite.
Are there serious problems right now? Yes.
In LSU athletic department history though..
We could be Oklahoma State right now.

Me and my best friend had gotten epically hammered the night before.
We lived about 5 houses apart on the same block, In Shreveport.
I awoke to the phone ringing…always had the tv on as I slept. At the time, I left it on one of the big three because they never stopped having something on…noise for sleep.
My mother was on the other end of the phone and proceeded to tell me that something crazy was going on and that the pentagon had been hit…
Simultaneously while listening to her with blurry eyes and looking at the television screen they showed the second plane hitting the second tower targeted. I think it was a replay.
My friend in question had an uncle very high in the state department and his office was at the pentagon.
Giant hangover aha moment I sprint down the block and started beating the shite out of his front door.
He doesn’t answer.
I go around the outside of his house and bang on his window.
He comes to the window with a crazy unhinged face asking wtf?
I tell him to open the front door and turn on the news.
He sees my face and doesn’t hesitate.
By the time we sit down on furniture the phone rings..
He answers it..
“Ok..ok…ok..alright “
Hangs up.
It was his uncle.
He couldn’t get in touch with his parents (my friends grandparents) to let them know he was ok..
he was late to an office meeting in the pentagon and watched the plane fly into it while in the car.
My buddy proceeded to call everyone he could to let them know his uncle was ok…
Somewhere in there his mother (who is a teacher at cope middle school right next to barksdale afb) called to say that Air Force 1 just flew over her school.
The rest is a blur but all of that happened in about 2 hours.
When my daughter asks me about surreal..
It’s pretty pertinent.

Couple of questions:
Do you believe the processing ability of the elite quarterback is talent or anyone can do it?
If it is a special skill, why would you separate it in this case?

My point was..
If there needs to be a certain amount of intelligence required to be a “generational talent “..(mentally functional), Why negate players who were more successful than the ones listed? It makes zero sense.Hell, throw Jamarcus in there…see now?
