Our schedule is pretty brutal depending on how some of the teams that were good last year play this year. If we win 5 games I’ll be surprised.

Need to find a key component in the staff that understands team chemistry and how to build a team that works well together. They of course have to have talent but a well oiled machine is hard to beat and to find in today’s world of NIL.

Solidify the O-line with this mentality and get some defensive schemes where we actually get in the backfield. Skill players right now are doing the most moving around. Target the lines and get back to solid football.

Exactly what makes the game exciting and Omaha such a special achievement. Even with a bought and paid for squad… you might go against a team just clicking on all cylinders at the right time and beats you. I love seeing some of these smaller school make a run so long as it isn’t against State lol. But seriously it’s what makes college baseball so good.

College football is more than just the game. It’s the tailgate, the rivalries, the campus culture, the pregame, the band, the traditions, and the people.

If you make this just about the players and money then you kill all that is college football. No player or group of players should be forced above all of that.
