You guys understand the coaches have more bargaining power than the schools right? Coaches want longer contracts with big buyouts attached, if youre a school after a hot commodity coach you can only push back so much

You guys remember in 2019 when we were good at football and basketball how pissed people were? Especially in basketball with the old guard guys like Dick Vitale. Contrast that with the Brian Kelly-McMahon era and we were sliding to irrelevancy. It’s much better to be talked about negatively than not at all.
How do we feel about the Knoxville series?

I think LSU is better but can really go on some horrible pitching stretches that concern me on the road against any SEC team. I haven’t watched much Tennessee outside of the Vanderbilt series this weekend, but they look pretty mediocre. Feels like a series they have to have. For people that know more, how do we match up?

I know this team is supposed to be “talented” on on paper but I legitimately don’t see it. Some of the freshman are pretty good yea but even 2 years ago with the 2024 team that started rough I could at least see a scenario of them piecing it together. I just don’t know if we have the dudes this time around

I rewatched his presser last night. Just wanted to look back at where it all started. The look on his face, the non-combative answers (which up to this point in the season he was very combative reporters), and just the general vibe tells me he knew it was over
