At this point I'd rather sankey just tell any official that whoever plays against LSU gets the bama treatment. No holding penalties against those teams, maybe a few bad spots for first downs and go ahead and make the big lsu home games during the morning or early afternoon. Those fans can get drunk, eat corn dogs, and throw piss balloons at each other back at the tailgate after the game.

It’s amazing to me that they think the SEC is just going to lay back and let it happen with no penalties. Even if there is a TRO in place, this is the kind of stuff that will get you kicked out of a conference if you continue to do it. Sankey doesn’t just work for himself. He works for all the other universities and if LSU is standing alone in this, it could turn into a Texas Tech situation where it’s “play him and you’re out” or “we will fine you into oblivion and you’re not eligible for any conference championships”

It's going to be interesting to see what (if anything) Sankey does. Wright "transferring" to LSU would violate conference rules. I fail to see how any argument could be made that he isn't transferring without saying he did, in fact, turn professional - which violates the amateurism bylaw.

It won't matter. This will be back in front of the same Louisiana judge, who will rule for LSU and Wright.

Under no circumstances whatsoever is LSU being "kicked out" of the SEC.

If you have a program that is actively going against the league bylaws then eventually you have to do that. Otherwise other programs lose faith in your ability to govern

TN had a kid get suspended for 2 games over $400. Wright got paid $25,000 by the Eagles. The conference could just suspend him for the entire season if they are forced to let him actually re-enter college.

The conference should just dig their heels in and refuse to budge. If he's not going back to the team he left, then it's a fair rule by the SEC. There are 266 teams playing D! football. He has a lot of options outside the SEC. Let his agent find one.

Those morons seriously think our staff was expecting to get any of these players back like we were depending on them. Our team is set and ready to go. But they’re getting judges to make these rulings so late and out of nowhere that it makes me think Lane has some serious concerns with their roster.
Either that or he’s doing it to troll Ole Miss and the SEC. And with less than 2 weeks from their first game of the year, i don’t think I would want my coach focussed on anything other than Clemson

I would be surprised if the conference allows these kids to "transfer" to an in conference school. Sankey has been firm on that rule.

I think it’s great we get to put it all out there and see how Sankey responds. These are the moments that make or break a conference
