Hooks is rapidly evolving into one of our most valuable players. About a month ago he felt like a mid-week guy at best. Not anymore.

When LSU beat Ole Miss in 2024 in a game Ole Miss should have won LSU fans ramped up their ridicule of Kiffin. LSU fans torched Kiffin for years. They crowed about how he was only winning so many games because Ole Miss was gifted an easy schedule. They taunted Ole Miss fans on his head scratching 4th down decisions. They ridiculed him over the basketball goal. They pointed out that he had never made it to the SEC championship. They made fun of him and Ole Miss for never being able to win the games that truly mattered. They loved to point out his record against ranked opponents.

According to LSU fans here Kiffin was a joke of a coach.

Somebody please do some research back to last season of LSU fans talking about how bad and inept in game Kiffin and Weis were when they were on our sideline. Now all of a sudden they are going to be the second coming for the corn dogs. You gotta love it.

We need a new thread for this, but whatever. The point I was here to make is we are gonna frick around and get shut out on Day 2 of a series. We are allowing this Florida starter an absolute career night. But I’m not surprised in the slightest.

What’s needed is the same ol thing that’s difficult to root for as a fan, and that’s for this team to absolutely tank for the remainder of the season. That may be the only thing that will more or less force Mike and Carter to come together and call it a career for the former.
