If Wright returns to college, I would be surprised if it's back to Ole Miss.

He thought his draft stock was higher than it was and threatened to sit out of the playoffs to protect his stock / not get hurt. Not sure our staff wants him back

so lane contacted these guys and got a ruling in louisianna to get Zxavian?. they already have Tre Dez Green so another TE in Dewuan Wright. would make more sense for Dequan to get PT here. Thought I read earlier that Wydette Williams was coming back to Ole Miss.

granting the 5th year and then opening a transfer portal was that included in the Lawsuit? he wasn't in the portal when it closed..

Also sounds like Wydett Williams is committed to staying in the NFL (though, I suspect like with everything else in college sports that could change at any time).

Nothing on Wright - but he's still on an NFL roster (like Williams) at the moment so I think he'd need the NFL team to release him before he could seek to return to college.

So what are the rumors on our 3 guys that gained eligibility. Given his familiarity with Trinidad and offense, hard to imagine Wright would go anywhere else. Obviously he's familiar with Kiffin and Weiss, but they have a star tight end and Sankey said no transfers within conference. Williams would be a great addition back to the defensive backfield but would think he might have a shot at the cardinals roster as a special teams guy. With Harris I would imagine it will depend on his number. Think we have a lot of depth on our defensive line and he apparently is injured and out of shape.

I think Wright is the one they have to be the most aggressive about pursuing if he's interested in coming back.

Harris: injuries and currently like 50 pounds over weight. No idea what he's going to do. Whether here or elsewhere I wouldn't bank on him providing anything meaningful for a while into the season.

Wright: doesn't sound like we're interested. SEC rules prevent anything in conference. One random team I've heard with him is Georgia Tech.

Williams: currently wants to bet on himself in the NFL. Any return to college seems unlikely. If he returns, it sounds like it would be back to Ole Miss.

Yeah I don't know how we wouldn't be interest in wright unless it's an insane nil number. Outside of deuce the majority of our receptions are from new players. Don't think you turn away someone who was so successful last year with trinidad
