Charlie killed it for us last year and we'd have gladly paid whatever we needed to have him stay. Think he wanted to but he owed lane for giving him the shot early in his career. Rooting for Charlie to be a hc next year

I'm an ole miss fan and even I want him to stay at State. Can tell he likes it there and seems like a great kid. Obviously even great people get swayed by money, doesn't make them bad people, but hope loyalty and him being a fan his whole life wins out.

That was a good game. Good comeback by lsu in a tough environment. LSU fans I encountered were all great. Sometimes I forget most the fans with the economic means to actually support their programs are just good normal people. The Wade Wilson, Kajunman type posters are just the kind of sidewalk fans who had someone buy them an lsu hat at a gas station growing up and embarrass lsu graduates. Glad to have this game over with.

Even lane would admit he had Pete handling the majority of recruiting. Our backup qb was a borderline 5 star who is an athletic freak. Really looking forward to seeing how this defense looks tomorrow fully healthy. Was sold all offseason on how good the defensive backfield was with all the transfers. Want to see them able to cover and let the d-line have time to get to Leavitt.
Keep in mind 2 of the starting cornerbacks for Ole Miss have missed all but 1 quarter so far and are now healthy. No saying we're going to be great in the secondary, but we have been down some players we are getting back.

Will suck for the fans just because the fans have put way too much into this, but the coaches and players will move on and focus on the rest of the season. Miami lost 2 games last year in a terrible ACC and almost won the national championship. Either of these teams can lose this game and 1 more and still make the playoff. There's a chance either could lose 2 more games and still make it.

Just to clarify, LSU is not a BAMA either. They are on a whole other level with regards to football.
Not getting into the whole conspiracy theory of why or why didn't Ulysses play 2 years ago. The signs should never have been made by those frats and have rightfully been taken down after the administration forced them to. She shouldn't have to deal with that. On the .001% chance that some rumors have some truth, it still should never be broadcast like that. I don't blame her for calling them out on it.

Think ole Miss fans definitely need to move on after Saturday regardless of the outcome. That said, what does it say about lsu if they lose? They got jealous of the success ole Miss was having so they stole their coach, assembled the most expensive coaching staff in history, sold their sole to private equity to pay for a roster, and then loss to a 1st year head coach to a team with far fewer resources.
