maybe it was Mississippi State that played with less than 53 but I know Kentucky was depleted vs Alabama. The point is that a team can play without 53.

State played UGA with 43 scholarship players and Ole Miss with 45.

You're acting like this isn't an abnormal year in CFB.

It is abnormal. Having said that, Mississippi State and Kentucky have both played with "not enough" players.

But go ahead and duck Bama again. If you play it and take the arse whipping, the first duck will be largely lost to history.

If you dodge Bama again, it will be for the history books--and the recruiting trail.

Not necessarily covid related but roster related to this thread. Holy mismanaged roster.

UA - 30 time nat champs - 1925, 1926, 1930, 1934, 1936, 1937, 1941, 1945, 1950, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1973, 1974, 1975 - 1980, 1991, 1992, 1994, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017

They may have 30 but are any of the above more impressive as LSU 2019

I’m gonna guess it’s the one who has lost 4 in a row in the series

Nobody but the corndogs have ever said the 2019 LSU team was the greatest of all time.

Because I’m certain he’s done as head coach of the Tide if he loses again to this LSU team and misses the CFP*.

...and there goes your credibility.

I'm not sure if it is this or if Michigan is trying to keep Ohio State's total number of games down so they have a lesser chance to make the playoff.

They are pretty much in it if they don't lose any games.... CFP says number of games played are not of primary consideration.

It's true. LSU fans should totally oppose such an action.

This is what Pitt said yesterday.

quote:

“We anticipate having a close-to-full roster,” Pittman said on Monday. “Our testing went well yesterday and between injuries that we had and the COVID, we feel we’re going to be pretty close to full speed.”
