Folks would be talking about this regardless of the school. I'm not sure I've ever seen a roster situation that looked like this going into the fall, so it's going to be fascinating to see how he fills all those spots with the little time he has.

The one criticism I have is how repetitive the randomly generated content is

That's easily my number 1 complaint. Back when Starfield released, I had a blast with it for 10-15 hours before it started to sink in how repetitive everything was.

I'm very impressed by how Maker moves. That dude can get up and down the floor like a deer.

Is this worth even getting on the Series X? I’ve seen people complaining about the graphics and texture pop in. But I really want to try it.

I don't recall seeing any graphical issues when I played on XBox. That being said, the game never really stuck for me, so I only put in 10 hours or so.
Dude could tie his shoes standing up.

Our front court still got me feeling a little nervous. Thank God Ourigou reclassified.

Same. I'm in too deep at this point.

Harlan Ellison has already covered it.
Byung-Hyun Kim reference incoming.

Wins may be scarce, but it won't be Morris bad.

If we can do pre-snap motion without our players running over each other, that will a level above Morris.

I honestly have zero clue what to expect this year.

I haven't gotten that far yet  But doing a quick search, I'm not seeing any mention of game breaking issues on XBox with the current version. I do remember that the OG version was janky AF on XBox (terrain not rendering, falling through the map randomly, etc). Those issues aren't there anymore that I've seen.

That was my experience this evening. I’d probably enjoy it more if it didn't lean so much into the survival game stuff. Felt like I spent most of my time crafting and looking for food for my pal-mons.

Within the first couple hours, you should have a base configured that pretty much has all that automated. Set up a berry farm, get the small feed bag so that you automatically feed your pals from your inventory, and get a few pals with high handiwork stats to build stuff in your base while you're out exploring.

That being said, some folks just do not enjoy a survival gameplay loop so it won't be for them. I usually don't really like survival games, but I find Palworld a lot more casual and easier to manage than most.

I think Verne Gagne might be the only person Ole ever liked.
Palworld 1.0 comes out tonight and is essentially supposed to be a brand new game, so I'm going to give that a spin. Based on the amount of time I put in a couple of years back when it was early access, I suspect that's going to scratch the gaming itch for a while.

I'm also going to pick up CFB 27 once some of the dynasty issues get cleaned up and will be interested in seeing how Fable 4 turns out.

The algorithms and censorship are driven by complaints

To an extent, yes. But it's also driven by ad revenue and what they think might make companies not want to advertise on their product. Subjects like death fall into that category.

The toolbox killers also had to be some of the most sadistic serial killers in the us. The fbi allegedly used the audio of what they recorded to desensitize its new agents. There are some really awful people hiding in the world.

The audio doesn't exist publicly (thank God), but you can find a transcript of the tapes online. I read a few lines into it after someone linked it and I really wish I hadn't.
