Who would have thought GoT could be so wholesome?
I liked having mixed feelings about the characters in GoT (eg: we hated jamie, then started to root for him, then didn't like him again). Almost everyone was an "anti hero" except for maybe the Starks.
So this was a nice change of pace. The Targaryens are playing the "shades of grey" roles. And I think they're good too.
I quit on the first episode 3 times before someone told me to push through. I'm glad they did.

Has there been a role he wasn’t good in?
He can be decent and not be "incredible."
Take "Lawless." He's overshadowed by everyone else in the movie.
No one wanted to see him in an indiana jones movie.
He is not a headliner. No one is going to see a Shai Labooboo movie because he's in it.
Not in the same way we'd go see Daniel Day Lewis or Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Those are "incredible" actors.

The amount of money our governments spend at every level is ridiculous. Our taxes should be 1/4 what it is, and they still borrow more.
I wonder what percentages of taxes just get lost to corruption?
I'm guessing that's higher in NYC than Tokyo.

Mazda 6 is the best car I've ever owned. Not a ton of miles (160k), 10 years old. Not one thing has gone wrong with it. Not even a bulb. I's a manual transmission.
I'll probably replace it with a CX-30 or Cx5 when the time comes....especially if they still have the six speed auto an naturally aspirated 2.5...they've been making that combo for a decade and it's stone reliable.
If you're looking at the brand new CX-5 they just redid it...I never like a first year revision, but if the powertrain didn't change you should be fine.
I've had a lot of cars and none have been completely defect free. This one has been. It was made in Japan...maybe that made a difference.

re: How does the OT feel about new vehicle extended warranties?
Posted by Grievous Angel on 2/18/26 at 3:57 pm to Tigers4Lyfe
Dealers make big money on these. Shop around--you don't have to buy it from the dealer. You have a standard warranty that will cover you if you absolutely feel the need to buy extended.
Buy a reliable car and don't worry about it.

Agreed. These stories are not the same.
I lost it at 15 to an 18 year old...not sure if that even counts as "statutory" or whatever, but it was the greatest (short) time of my life.
If I had some even moderately attractive grown assed woman getting freaky with me? All the better.
I'm not saying it's right. I'm just saying these boys are probably not damaged.
