Not like it used to be back in the day of CD’s and six disc changers.

I used to browse Blu Rays, Music, and games a lot.

That's all gone away...not much to "browse" anymore. You can't browse "drones."

Need more data. Don't know about them teeth.

That pic is a cross between Carrot Top and Marilyn Manson. Ugh.

It's the witch from Weapons.
I worked with a lady whose kid got shot in the face with a mortar.

He died.

Too bad Rogan is in it. He's been played out a while.

I'm always up for giving Ed Norton a chance, though. I'll pass on the theater.

The super hero fatigue is real.

The conventional stuff, yes.

There are outliers like The Joker and The Batman.

I think Marvel ruined us on all the quippy dialog and the waxy low stakes CGI.

Gunn's Superman was EXACTLY like all of that.

Only think I've enjoyed lately were the two movies noted above.

This is a legit WYHI.

But it's also an easy no.

I cant stand fake sticks and engine sounds in electric cars.

They're making fake engine sounds in all kinds of vehicles now.

Ford fakes V8 sounds with their eco boosts (with the radio)

My wife's turbo 4 acura has fake engine sounds through the stereo.

Maybe the worst crime against humanity is ANY vehicle that "fakes" shifting.

Cars now stupid.
Covid finally killed off our ties.

Coats are still mandatory for management.

Boomers were literally handed EVERYTHING on a silver platter based on what happened in WW2. The greatest generation fought the war and the boomers reaped every reward of that war victory.

It was a world before globilsation and the US was the only superpower in town with SERIOUS manufacturing capacity.

You could make a good life working in a factory for a good salary, with a stay at home wife and family.

Over time countries rebuilt, others entered the chat (India, China), and legislation to grease the skids (that "giant sucking sound" that Ross Perot was right about.

Nutshell: boomers didn't really have to compete internationally. Everyone since lives in a world where most of the developed world will work for much less than what Americans will..

It also comes with youtube music so you can stream just about any song you can imagine for free and ditch whatever existing music subscription you might have

I had the same thought. Ditched Spotify and exported/imported playlists to YT Music.

I hated it. I hated the app. I still have YT Premium but have gone back to spotify. I don't remember all the reasons but I was surprised at all the features and small things that make Spotify a much better app.

Once you have YT premium it's hard to deal with commercials.

The Oscars has always been bullshite

All virtue signaling and rewarding old actors in shite roles because they missed when they were actually great.
Barely a mention of Gen X....we get a pass?

There's no way my parents (boomers) would live the life they live if they were born in a different generation given their education and jobs.

Their SS and Medicare benefits are pretty rich. And they both had jobs that had decent pensions.

not the "most" but the Dream Team was a lot of fun.
They made the ranch packets smaller. But are happy to sell you extras. Classic enshittification.

They are going downhill. They get bought by private equity or something?

Fishburn turned down pulp fiction

Conflicting stories I guess.

I heard it from Tarantino's mouth that Fishburn was his first choice...I can't remember where.

Samuel L. Jackson... perhaps the most one dimensional actor of all time.

I heard Tarantino say on a podcast that he wanted Lawrence Fishburn for the Jules role in Pulp Fiction.

He would have been better.

And I think Fishburn would be better in just about every role that Jackson has had since.

Define A list?

Definitely doesn't contain Sam Worthington.

It almost has to be Keanu. But we love him anyway.
All depends on how big your job is. I have an Ego Blower, chainsaw, hedge trimmer and pole saw. All great for the job.

I had the trimmer and gave it to my son. My trimming work just seemed to big for it. Got an Echo gas powered trimmer..

Can't imagine mowing my yard with an electric push mower...hanging on to my trusty (and discontinued) Honda gas burner.

They are a big deal. And we've got 4. And as of 2008 we had zero.

Yes I agree.
