A&M- best season in years, can we prove it’s not luck?
Bama- is this the start of downhill?
LSU- finally got their first pick coach, can they make something of it?
Ole miss- can they prove it’s not kiffin but the team?
Florida- can they make their job lucrative again?

I think this being lanes first year, he will get a grace period. I wouldn't be surprised if we Don't make the playoffs. But wouldn't be surprised if we did. Iam just looking forward to scoring more than 24 points in a game. And very impressed on how hard he is working for recruits.

I’d take off A&M and add Auburn and Texas.

The new coaches in the league (meaning AU, FL, LSU, OM) have a lot to prove - someone or a few will be major letdowns. Not everyone will win immediately - they just won’t. For LSU, for the money spent, is 8 wins acceptable? What happens if the QB isn’t up to par? I mean Jackson Arnold was supposed to solve AU’s QB problems . . .

CKD is just following the GOAT - he can’t win regardless what he does. It’s sad when you make the SEC championship and playoffs and is on the hot seat. It is what it is.

Texas has talent everywhere. If they don’t make the playoffs again, with all that bought talent, there are coaching issues that have to be addressed.

I agree. Arch wasn't ready last year, and the Oline lacked experience. Both will be improved this upcoming season. I don't shite all over Sark like a few Texas posters here do. But if he doesn't at least get Texas to the NC game this year, injuries aside, I'll doubt he ever will.

My feelings exactly.

Well, Bama ended the season with back-to-back bull-whippings and 4 total losses. I'd say if that happens for the 3rd straight season, Ol KD is going to be last seen running down some dirt road in Alabama being chased by a mob.

If LSU struggles, I can say this much; all of the LSU fans on here that have raved and slobbered all over Kiffin for the last month will probably go into hiding and this entire forum might be in danger of shutting down.

Not Florida

We’re a basketball school now I honestly wouldn’t even care if we folded the program and didn’t play a game next season, much less continue to suck

LSU should have no excuse if we don't have a successful season with the killer recruiting class coming in. Many eyes will be on Kiffin.

Bama needs a jolt to their program or KD will be on the hot seat pretty quick.

UF/Auburn will get a year or two to get situated without massive expectations.

Should be an exciting upcoming season. Texas will need to make some waves as well b/c their fanbase is restless with Sark.

Missouri is in a slow declined in football. I am picking Missouri football team to go 5-7 or 6-6 this coming season.

Elko would do himself a big favor if he took the Texas game more seriously. Two years now he has shite the bed. Not just lost. Looked uninterested. Sark knows better and outcoaches him bigly.

Jackie remains the gold standard for many Ags because he made sure his team was ready for this game.

I think it’s important for LSU to have a good season, but we have completely turned over the roster so a playoff birth might be a big ask, though of course we’ve seen it before. I just won’t crucify the guy for losing two or three games. If we can look good, get some guys drafted high, and continue killing it in recruiting and in transfer portal, the future looks bright.

Texas is the easy answer here. Horns are all-in for Arch's last year.

It is probably the most important for Sark.

A&M does well when their schedule is mediocre. Who knew?

I think for the Gators its important tò go at least 8-4 to get things going in the right direction again.

Kirby is safe regardless of what happens short of being caught with a live boy or a dead girl.

But Georgia has not won a cfp game since the 2023 season and Georgia had more losses the previous two seasons than they did the four before it combined. If Kirby has another 3 loss season there is going to be a LOT of whimpering from the dawgs.

I expect LSU to probably go 8-4, 5 SEC games on the road and 10 P4 opponents will be a tough hill to climb with an entirely new offense.

Now do Alabama.

Alabama has lost as many games in the last two seasons as they had in the last FIVE combined. Maybe Alabama fans should concentrate on DeFour.

Deboer is 2-1 against Kirby.

Alabama had a seismic upheaval of their football program when Saban retired unexpectedly. They have trended down since his retirement, but last season was movement in the right direction - SEC playoff game, CFP team, CFP win, top 10 finish.

Georgia is the most stable program in the SEC. And yet they have trended down since 2023 too.
