elling when only you and the utx folk shout this one out.
We call it the RRS. And, I'd put it 3rd after Army-Navy and the Iron Bowl.

B1G Takeover
Not yet convinced this is a thing.

Pretty good weekend for the Horns
Yes it was. And we were one tip-in away from it being an amazing weekend. Can't get too greedy I guess!

And we wonder why the sec is losing their grip on college football. Patience is a thing of the past
Appreciate the sentiment. But, between the $ being spent to retain rosters and Cignetti's formula, patience is a luxury few can afford.
Not gonna happen, but I'd gladly trade this plus a cupcake for wrapping up CFB around New Year's. The longer it goes, the worse kick times get trying to schedule around the NFL.

So, you went to Auburn, but pull for Texas?
Yep. Got a scholarship in the major I wanted. So that made the choice. The school and folks there were great. But, Texas is home.

AU baseball (that's where I graduated & cousin played)
Florida (where my uncle lettered)

Congrats to all these teams for handling business
For as inconsistent as we've been all year, Miller did a great job this past weekend.

I love baseball and some of my favorite memories are going to State baseball games with my dad as a kid and sitting in right field at Ole Miss in college. But it isn’t the money maker the other two sports are. And investing heavily into that sport instead of football or basketball as an AD or booster is irresponsible
Which is sad because SEC baseball has become a more compelling product than SEC football. I realize that's blasphemy to most though.
Always happy taking a SEC road series, especially against a team the likes of Auburn. But, until the back end of the pen settles down not sure about being #2.

We had a center from Oklahoma... who snapped to a QB from Oklahoma... who handed off to a tailback from Oklahoma... or threw to wide receivers from Oklahoma. Most of the team was from Oklahoma. I remember playing Tennessee in the Orange Bowl. Most of their guys were from Tennessee.
This is the bigger deal to me. It's not so much that the kids are now employees instead of students at the school, it's that they don't care much about its legacy, rivalries or fans that's the turn off.

Auburn "stole" him from State the same way TAMU "stole" Bjork from Ole Miss.
The MS schools playing some 4-D chess by exporting AD's.

LSU men's hoops is dead
Reece & Mackinnon make an excellent backcourt. I haven’t kept up much, but seems like injuries to bigs have been the main issue.

instead of staring down the barrel of firing your coach and paying his buyout in a year.
Crazy talk. If you're going to hire a first time HC at an SEC school, you have to give him a couple years to get his footing.

So glad he's gone.
Hugh's hiring was a John Cohen special. They're two peas in a pod.

I was excited about the hire when it happened but this year there hasn’t been much to be excited about.
The last few weeks have been. Should even make the tourney. Credit to Miller for the improvement.

Texas really controlled that whole second half.
I know better than to get my hopes up, but since the last week of January we’ve started to figure some things out.
