I am not too mad anymore about the search myself. The bottom line is we weren't going to promise to spend what LSU did when it came to NIL etc so looking back we were never really in it for Kiffin because of that. I think Sumrall was the best coach available we could get for sure. Would be nice to see Kiffin struggle though at LSU.
I would take Kiffin and us spending on NIL what LSU is spending.

I do think Sumrall will do good with what he has though. I almost think we could really compete pretty good this season but that LT spot may be a real big issue and that is one big issue you don't want to have in SEC play. Hopefully someone can step up by the time the season starts.
I am going to hold off on too much sunshine until we see what is going to happen at LT. Ugorji (when I could tell what the number was in there) looks like he will get owned in SEC play unless he makes huge strides before the season. How can him and Boyer be close at LT unless Boyer is struggling also.

Damn...
Yep I hope we can keep most of these top guys. NIL does make you have a balancing act with high school guys and experienced transfers though.
Going to be tough for him in the era of NIL. At least 4 other SEC teams are matching or spending more than Bama. Saban never had to deal with that situation as GA before he left was the only SEC team matching Bama in buying players.
We better hope Westphal can get over his injury and is able to take that LT spot. Unless the transfer from Stanford makes huge gains before the season he is going to get abused in SEC play. I think we arent too bad in most other positions.
Clark would get absolutely destroyed by any good male college player.
If Aberdeen gets his waiver we should definitely be a force.
Damn KY has a lot better record than the Gators.
Indiana if given Ohio State's NIL budget?
LSU spent the whole NIL budget on football.
Yep I think if it was still the 80s and 90s we are right with those biggest spending schools but a side effect of UF becoming so hard to get into is the richest alumni are tech types now which arent that into football.
Yeo that list doesnt catch all the money from big donors buying players certain ways that arent public (some of them it does though I guess) but we will have 5 teams in the SEC that will likely have bigger player budgets most every year: The 2 Texas schools, LSU, Bama and GA. What is going to be real important with limited budgets is getting the transfer and high school recruit money divided a good way. High school recruits you are taking a chance with the highest ranked ones because many dont pan out but are expensive. Its still crazy what Indiana was able to do the last 2 years.

I think our defense will be pretty good. Really worried about Offensive left tackle though.

Rewatched the spring plays a few times. If Ugorji gets the starting spot at left tackle and doesnt improve a lot by the start of the season I think we have a major issue there. He looked like he did starting as a true freshman at Stanford getting beat a lot. It will definitely affect the play calling imo when we are in passing situations in SEC play if he doesnt improve big time or if someone else doesnt step up to take that spot.
I see Olivier Rioux is transferring to a mid-major. I wonder if he can get real playing time there or not. I guess he was just too uncoordinated to ever get real playing time at UF.
LSU should have the best roster with that crazy portal haul. Only thing you think could mess them up is if the O line isnt good as a unit.

If the Tackles get squared away and we can get decent QB play I think we will surprise some people how good we are.
