Yep I guess their thinking is this has 6 teams in play for the Big 10 and SEC while making it important to get to the conference championship games but if they go to 16 especially it will be a joke with some at large teams getting in over some #5 Big 2 teams. I guess at 14 teams and one at-large bid it wouldn't be as bad but I think they should ditch that idea.
Physically that beatdown Nebraska put on us in the 1995 season championship game was the worst I saw.

I guess this play-in game scenario for the playoff change is on the table for the SEC and Big 10 even if it only goes to 14 teams. Having #3 play #6 and #4 play #5 to get in the playoff makes getting in the SECCG a priority but if it was done with 16 teams instead of 14 there will be a lot of noise with the 3 at-large teams not having that extra game.
Picket talent will still matter though when you do find those lower rated gems you will have to pony up some NIL when they start producing.
The courts upheld the 3 year NFL rule with Maurice Clarett.
Golden is the master of maximizing NIL funds. If he thought Aberdeen should walk at whatever price he is asking I trust his decision on it.
I see 9 - 3 also if Lagway doesn't miss a game.

I bet he face plants at UCLA. Maybe not DJ Ugh level face plant but pretty bad.
They are actually mostly getting paid for by big boosters now as very few have a real big NIL value in reality. I think the Congress Bill will allow college teams to use up to 20.5 million of revenues to pay players though.
I doubt UNC takes him and if they do he will end up behind Max Johnson if Johnson is healed in time for camp.
Nico's idiot dad and reps will have him getting 400K NIL for 2025 at this rate. 100% morons.
Yep Nico and company should have been happy they already got 4 million or so after last season.
UNLV said they never promised that QB a 100K and now the kid is at James Madison getting lunch money NIL after abandoning his team.
TN won despite Nico's mediocre play. He is not a 2 million dollar QB.

What in the hell does a bad injury in a regular season game to a player that was having a good season have to do with anything like this? Lattimore's situation could happen to anyone playing in a regular season game or a meaningful playoff game.
He would probably face plant at UCLA just like DJ Ugh did at FSU.
Beck wasn't worth what Miami gave him. I think when Bowers left it showed he wasn't as elite as some people thought. Nico though has no reason at all in reality (except an idiot dad) to think someone else would give him TNs offer for this season.
Yep I doubt anyone made a firm offer to Nico's dad of over 2.4 million TN would give him. He looked very pedestrian last season. His dad screwed up like that QBs dad at UNLV who had his son leave after 3 games over demanding 100K and now his son is at James Madison with hardly any NIL money.
It's looking more like Tulane and a big NIL cut may end up being plan B.
It would be a lot on someone's mind if they knew the state was not going to back off him doing some years in prison which would cost you an NFL contract. More stressful than if the NFL stuff wasn't involved. You have to live with your actions in life and the consequences though.
