re: Did the us really lose the war in Vietnam?
Posted by thumperpait on 11/11/25 at 1:34 pm to bobBoxer
Almost impossible to win. Every time we would do heavy bombing, they would either go underground or head over to laos. We couldn't touch them in laos. Should have never been there to begin with. The soilders were treated like crap when they did come home. Just an awful war and needless loss of life. Prime reason Eisenhower said to beware of the military-industrial complex. A lot of people got rich off the blood of our soilders.

Thanks scuba. Hoping you would answer after going to all the scrimmages.

At least the negitigers have had a lot of practice with football. Those poor souls are going to have carpel tunnel before summer.
re: Most of the posters rip the "insiders" on this board

Any true insiders would and should keep their mouth shut. Especially with a lot more football to play. Let's say for example they knew for a fact it's kiffin for example. He has given the powers that be a thumbs up he is coming. There would be everything to lose and nothing to gain by leaking it
I've had fun reading all these big time insiders telling all the secrets. But it's also like hearing from some Scott saying he saw nessie and then got abducted by aliens and had dinner with Bigfoot on the spaceship. It's entertaining every time but I've through this for too many years to fall for it.
It's sad that people have to go this route for attention. This time on the marry go round, more then ever, they got called on their bullshite and chicken didn't waste much time on giving the ban hammer.

Iam not ready to buy into the dillingham hype. 6-3 in there league is not very impressive. Someone change my mind on why he should be the next coach because I just don't see it.
Question about baseball.

We have so many new players it's hard to gauge were we are at. At this point, how are we looking for the up coming season. Do we have any hr power from the new players? Also, iam really glad we have a great young coach that looks to be here for the long haul. After this crappy football season, baseball these past few years have been something to look forward too.
Thanks.
Thanks.

This is a much better and deeper team. If you watch any hoops at all you would see that as well
Couldn't say it better. I tried for the past two years to watch a game. Their play was so bad, I couldn't watch them for more than five minutes. Their fundamentals are better and they are knocking down three pointers. Right now they are at 37 percent from downtown. And that taking 27 shots. I can live with that. Got a feeling Sec won't be as strong overall as they have been in the past.
I still want a better coach that has more emotion but after this football season, I'll take what I can get until baseball is back.

That's why I said not coming in last in the SEC. Need better down low defense. And a couple more Aussie's.

They found a guard and are hitting threes. So much better than the last couple of years.

Another law suit coming from the family on the way. How dare the home owner kill poor devanta when he didn't hit the home owner first.

After looking at who they played and how much they scored, hard pass.

I think it worked out great. Love all five of our freshmen class. Meghan Yarnevich gets overlooked because she wasn't a five star. She gives great effort and is very physical. First exhibition game, she had a lot of bruises from practice.

Then I must be lucky. Got a 22 pound butterball from walmart for .98 cents per pound.

She scheduled like that to see what her best combination of players work best. Jay does the same thing early with the season. Don't see a problem with that.

I watched it. Kim switched players five at a time it seemed like it every five minutes. The second group were a little sloppy but you could see the talent. ZaKiyah Johnson is going to be the next super star. She looked like a veteran out there. Bella Hines is a three point assassin.
Mulkey usually played eight players in a game. She has twelve players that can play every night if she wants too. This team is the most talented team mulkey has had at LSU. And kuval is not just a inside player. She hit a very nice shot outside the paint. Huge upgrade at center. Meghan Yarnevich is a player that gets overlooked. She is only six feet tall but is very physical. Reminds me of a female charles Barkley. Should be a great season.

careful sharkfhin, the natives were restless yesterday when I spoke of the loose lips of the brass! Kiffin’s agent has the offer and Kiffin not interested. Freeman would be a disastrous hire, however, it would go hand in hand with the meatheads we have on this search committee
I would be just fine with freeman. If you see how many jobs are open, someone is going to be shite out of luck with their hire. And there will be more openings probably soon. Got to grab a good coach when you can.
