2015
LSU lost to Bama. Then mailed it in against arky and old mist. Those pussies quit.

This one for me, as well.
If I recall correctly, it was the same PSU fan ref who screwed Michigan out of a win against them the year prior.

Both 2014 and 2022 A&M had me pretty despondent. Liberty also made me rage

Don't forget, same game... Bama throws an interception and the PSU db was clearly oob, but interception called and stands prior to replay.

OU vs. Oregon 2006
The most egregious call I have ever seen, which even got reviewed.
1. The kick didn't go 10 yards before an Oregon player touched it.
2. OU's Allen Patrick actually recovered it.
Then when Oregon gets the ball, on a play that would have ended the game, PI is called on OU. Review clearly shows a tight spiral changes trajectory after being tipped, they then upheld the PI. At this point I was wondering how much the refs were getting paid.

You really didn’t think you had a chance to win the SECCG against LSU in 2019 did you?

On Texas' last drive to kick a game winning field goal four ref calls occured.
#1- Texas clearly fumbles and OU recovers. Ref call the Texas RB down.
#2- 3rd and 10. Texas QB throws a ball way over the receivers head. OU defender gives the receiver a shove as the ball goes over receivers head. OU gets PI. Texas gets a first down.
#3- OU gets a phantom off sides on a Texas third down that gives Texas auto first down.
#4- OU intercepts a ball in the end zone on the last play before Texas' game tying field goal. Officials say that OU defender was OOB. Replays and still photos show the OU safety catching the ball two and half yards in bounds.
I was at that game, it was a tie, but felt like a loss.

They would have had to pass had UGA scored
Bama stopped Georgia on it's last play, time ran out, you didn't score. What we would have done had you scored earlier is irrelevant since you never scored at all. And one of the big reasons Georgia "ran out of time" was exactly because Alabama could move down the field running the ball all day instead of passing.

OU-USC (2005) was horrible, but OU-Boise State was way worse.

Yeah the national championship was just a beatdown, that Yeldon screen was probably the biggest gut punch I’ve ever had watching football

Bama LSU 2004. Corey Webster mugged Keith Brown and picked a pass off in the end zone. No call. A turning point in the game. Bama wouldn’t score again. I can look back now and say that we probably would’ve lost anyway. Thats what we did back then. Didn’t keep me from wanting to fight everyone in that BWW though.

Inexplicable loss every year it seemed like
Add in Kentucky in 2010 the week after we beat #1 bama. Had a lead and quit running MARCUS LATTIMORE...

2005 Auburn @ LSU
Our kicker missed 5 field goals and we lost 20-17 in overtime. We outgained LSU by 100+ yards of offense and had more first downs.
Auburn finished 7-1 in the SEC. Georgia went on to win the SEC Championship Game against LSU. We beat Georgia in Athens in the regular season.
If one of those field goals go through we might've been looking at back to back SEC Championships from 2004-2005.

Southern Miss game, 2000. Shut out at home 21-0. By far the ugliest game I've ever seen. Never heard so many people cussing (myself included) before.
I was a lowly walk-on standing on the sideline. I heard plenty.
It’s not far from the penthouse to the outhouse for coaches. DuBose was SEC COTY in 1999. Three games into 2000 he was basically a dead man walking.

To be fair in that game Lattimore missed the 2nd half with an ankle injury. Still agree with you though, terrible loss.

1981 State-Ole Miss game.
State takes a 17-14 lead late. After the kickoff Ole Miss throws a pass from the forty yard line in to the end zone that is intercepted by State. DB clearly has inside position and if anything it was offensive pass interference. After the pass is intercepted, the official reaches into his pocket to throw the flag. Worst call in the history of college football.
In those days, interference was a spot foul and Ole Mass got one play at the one yard line with about six seconds left and scored to win the game 21-17.
