Bama didn't have to pass. Eddie Lacy ran all over Georgia all day long and made 'em like it.

Oh, let’s see….

LSU - Arkansas 2007
LSU - Ole Miss 2009
LSU - Tennessee 2010 (and that was a win)
LSU - Clemson 2012
LSU - Wisconsin 2016

Yeah, I wasn’t a fan of the Les Miles’ era.

2008, night game against Tortilla Tech in Lubbuttock when Leach was still coach. Beyond Crabtree's famous catch, Blake Gideon (now our safeties coach lol) dropped an easy INT that would have iced it. That Colt McCoy Texas team was better overall than the 2009 squad that made it to the NCG and started Bama's dynasty...and there's no doubt in my mind if we win that game against Tech we are 2008 national champs. That one still stings after all these years.

Oklahoma vs. Oregon onside kick...worst call I've ever seen.

South Carolina vs. Auburn - 2011

South Carolina was 4-0 and ranked #10 in the country.
Auburn was 3-1 and unranked.
A low scoring, defensive struggle all game long. Auburn throws a 9-yard pass to Phillip Lutzenkirchen (RIP) with 1:38 left in the game to go up 15-13. South Carolina drove it to Auburn's 29-yard line but could not do anything before time expired and lost 16-13.

South Carolina finished 11-2 (6-2) that season with this loss costing them the SEC East. Georgia finished 10-4 (7-1) that season with their only SEC loss to South Carolina. Auburn finished 8-5 (4-4) that season which made it all the more frustrating.

Was this the game in which your TE dropped a wide open TD to win the game? It may have beena game in 2006.

I was expecting worse.

It’s not that bad.

For OU fans there are two games that are notorious. That Oregon game and the 1984 Texas game.

On Texas' last drive to kick a game winning field goal four ref calls occured.

#1- Texas clearly fumbles and OU recovers. Ref call the Texas RB down.

#2- 3rd and 10. Texas QB throws a ball way over the receivers head. OU defender gives the receiver a shove as the ball goes over receivers head. OU gets PI. Texas gets a first down.

#3- OU gets a phantom off sides on a Texas third down that gives Texas auto first down.

#4- OU intercepts a ball in the end zone on the last play before Texas' game tying field goal. Officials say that OU defender was OOB. Replays and still photos show the OU safety catching the ball two and half yards in bounds.

1995 UGA Auburn. UGA had Auburn on the ropes down late in the 4th. UGA had taken momentum and Auburn was 4th down and about 7 to go and was lined up to go for the first down and run the clock out. Less than a minute to go. Ray Goff calls time out, tater tott re thinks going for it and Auburn punts, UGA had no TOs left and got the ball at the 20 with about 15 seconds left. Goff was fired before the Peach Bowl. A pretty meaningless game but UGA was kicking Auburns arse late in the game…Auburn hadn’t moved the ball in several possessions and them going for it on their side of the fifty was the game…they either make it or not…if they punt the game is over for sure. They did and it did. Still remember that shite every time I pass a Zaxbys

I’ll just do the “in person one”. And it’s too late for me to look up the year, but l Mark richt deciding to run it against auburn in Sanford Stadium with no timeouts and 10 seconds on the clock. That was very disappointing, as I was sitting in the stands behind the goal posts when he made that error.

West Virginia Sugar Bowl kinda
Sucked too.

Tennessee in Knoxville sucked arse, Kiffin killed us. But the tailgate was fun as shite. Vols know how to tailgate.

Good memory on that one. Yep it was 2006. Jared Cook. Would have tied the game late in the 4th against #2 auburn

That wasn’t a fumble. Everyone knows that. Even the Atlanta Journal Communist paper printed it the next day.

Wasn't thrilled about Boise, but they played their balls off and it was a good game....the oregon onside kick debacle was all kinds of different.

Was 2006, and the TE was Jared Cook. Sidney Rice said Cook was the most talented receiver on that team, which I thought was batshit insane, considering he was mediocre as grits in college.

Lo and behold, Cook has a 10+year NFL career, and is probably one of the longest-tenured pro Gamecocks ever.

2003 TSiO and I'm not sure it's particularly close. We had beaten them the year prior but before that they had won six in a row over us and that pain was still fresh. The game went to OT and in the second period all we had to do was stop them on 4th and 19 and we win. Instead we gave up a 29-yard pass and they went on to score and ultimately win the game. I did not take it well.

The Bama Ark game last year. And the were several like it over the last couple where Bama should have dominated but poor coaching poor poor execution. That was unacceptable

They would have had to pass had UGA scored and Bama had less than a couple of minutes to march down the field and score. They hadn't been effective passing when they attempted to that game other than a single big pass play.

LSU at Auburn 1994. We were up 14 going into the 4th quarter. Jamie Howard threw 3 pick sixes in the 4th quarter.

His son could have been his redemption but he prefers to ride the bench in Oxford.
