re: Why take out Shores?

we go to a true freshman for his first appearance in Omaha

Because we are going to need that true freshman in Omaha and now he won’t be as nervous his 2nd appearance in Omaha
Milam hits a deep ball to right field and he can’t tell that it has a chance to go out. Kid hits a grand slam and he didn’t give the call until the ball hit 4 rows deep. No excitement. I’d rather hear Hawthorne say “Way Back there, Way Back there, caught at the wall” than bear Blair “fly ball to right field, Rinehart going over, aaaaand it’s in the bleachers. Three rows deep into the Diamond Deck”

FFS it’s so nonchalant and not exciting to listen to. He’s great on balls and strikes but can sometimes make calls so non enthusiastic.

Against a rag tag pitching staff down to their 16-17th options?

It’s past time to sit Jones

Let Frye play 1st and Pearson DH

Our guys have no energy

They are playing tight and look like they are ready for it to be over
Why would we want to subject ourselves to that misery?

You have to throw strikes and hit the ball. We have done neither. Been doing it Game 3 of the weekend series all season.

Some of those balls were strikes that lead to walks and runs.

None of those balls were strikes. And we aren’t going to get any calls when you can consistently hit the same spots. Our pitchers are all over the map.
For the life of me I can’t understand how we can’t throw strikes

26-33 and we can’t hit their scrubs

Sometimes the minor leagues have the best hitting coaches.

UGA is 10-10

Every SEC team plays 15 road games. That’s 5 THREE game series. Math is not your strong suit. UGA is 7-8 on the road in the SEC this season.

UGA has played 20 SEC road games? That’s brutal.

No. They have played 15 just like every other SEC team does during the season. They are 7-8 on the road.

We’re 6-8 by the way.

0 wins against Auburn, 1 against Texas, 1 against A&M, 3 against OU, 0 against USCe. I don’t know what kind of math you’re doing, but 3+1+1=5. There are 30 games in the regular season, 15 on the road and 15 at home. 5+8=13 with 2 games to play.

5-8 on the road

Posted by Run DMC on 5/15/25 at 9:58 pm
1-2 Texas
0-3 Auburn
3-0 OU
1-2 A&M
0-1 South Carolina

If you can’t win on the road, you won’t win the CWS. You could potentially lose series to 2 of the worst 3 teams in the league. That does not warrant a #1 National Ranking. I don’t care how much CPM wanted to win this game, you had a 2 run lead going into the bottom of the 8th and were 27-0 when leading going into the 8th. This one sits squarely on the coaches. They do not have the team prepared to play on the road and it’s obvious.
Pretty evident that one team continually has these issues with all the other teams in the conference.

re: Your 3 “permanent rivals”?

Personally, LSU should play Florida, Ole Miss, and Auburn as permanent opponents. A&M has always felt like a fabricated rivalry and OU does too.

-Auburn beat out LSU in 2010s because they played in more SEC titles 3>2

So LSU won both SEC Championship games they played in and played for a National Championship both years, won one and lost one. And Auburn beat them out? Come on
