We’re still in the middle of this and no I don’t consider half a year to be “long term.” A year is a blink of an eye in a nation’s history.
For the blockade to be successful it will probably need to be kept up for several more months along with renewed strikes on Iran after the midterms are over.

I said years ago that the transfer portal and NIL would crush alabama’s run. It ended before saban retired. He called it quits early because he knew he wasn’t going to win near as much.

Thinking back to Saban returning to Baton Rouge in 2008. . . That intro on CBS and hype around that game was electric.
Kiffin’s return almost feels even bigger because he left only a year ago and didn’t go to the NFL first.
There’s going to be some real hatred in that stadium. I wish CBS was calling the game.

Once those are up what does Iran do in the face of another 2 years of the Trump administration in power and then the next administration likely continuing to cripple them economically as well?
It doesn’t seem Iran is going to be able to run the clock out and their economy is going to continue to spiral.

I haven’t seen a buzz around a program like this since 2007 when Saban landed in Tuscaloosa or 2016 when Kirby took the job in Athens. We’ll see how the rest of the season plays out but damn it’s impressive to hand Swinney the worst loss of his career even if Clemson is a shell of what they used to be.

Regardless of the debate surrounding it, it worked with Japan.

I would imagine there’s much more geographic benefit to the island than simply the chip factories. Also, China has expansion aims well beyond Taiwan. That’s the first stepping stone for them. They want the US out of their neighborhood.
