A lot of fans on this board are mentally stuck in the 2000s and 2010s.

The SEC isn’t king anymore. The two betting favorites to win it all are Ohio State and Indiana.

Best defense remaining

Ohio State’s is the best by a decent margin.

Interesting Oregon and Texas Tech are so close. I done see either winning a Natty in any situation

Nah. They’re both top 10 teams but can’t hang with Indiana or Ohio State.

Indiana handled Oregon in Eugene earlier in the year. Tech hasn’t played a team with a pulse.

Will be surprised if Ohio State doesn’t win it all.

Indiana by 7
Ohio State by 10+

Spoken like a true boog. Vegas lines > actual game in AU’s eyes

I don’t even know what that means. Lines are fun pregame discussion, not an exact science.
The only ones melting ITT are alabama fans seeing that Vegas has Indiana -7.5

poor boog, melting as hard as the LSU fans

Poor fella thinks alabama is a legit contender after Oklahoma self destructed with unforced errors.

The 4th loss is coming, yesterday was delaying the inevitable.

Vegas also shifted to OU -1.5, and Bama spotted them 17 and still won by double digits

OU had a surreal self destruction when Mateer didn’t run for the first down, the punter dropped the ball, and then the pick six on a route miscommunication. On top of that their kicker missed two field goals. They were running away with the game and beat themselves. Throw in 2 questionable personal foul calls on Oklahoma and a missed false start on alabama at the end of the game it was a perfect storm for a comeback that was largely fueled by a string of unforced errors.

alabama got outgained by 100+ yards in offense, went 2 of 12 on third down, and couldn’t consistently run the ball. Those warts aren’t going away.

Thus, you have the -7.5 spread.

Indiana hasn’t played but two teams with a pulse this year. Bama matches up better with Them than the other top seeds. Expect bama to win Osu/uga/tech all win and cover

Vegas completely disagrees.

re: Oregon JMU

Notre Dame and Texas would’ve been much more entertaining.
The committee is scared of antitrust lawsuits from the smaller conferences.

The next move is likely to expand to 16 to dilute the weaker teams like JMU and Tulane so that their presence is less of an issue.
I know Miami missed three field goals today and should’ve scored more than 10 points but I don’t think they’ll score more than 10-14 points against Ohio State’s defense. It is one of the best we’ve seen in recent years.

Indiana -7.5 against alabama (opened at -6.5)

Ohio State -9.5 against Miami

Georgia -6.5 against Ole Miss

I thought I was going to eat my words from about 5 minutes ago, but there go 2 Big 12 teams out of the playoffs.

There are 3 teams capable of winning it all. Most of these games are fluff.

Normally I’d agree but they appear to be an exception this year. I don’t think they beat Ohio State in a rematch, though.

Damn we know you hate bama , but Alabama has more talent than Indiana. Indiana is probably more disciplined and better coached but hasn't been tested nearly as much as bama. The big 10 is not an overall better conference than the sec no matter what you say . The bottom half of their conference is complete garbage and doesn't give any tough games . The bottom of the sec has Auburn at 1-7 and they probably have 5-3 talent . Kentucky is the only gimme win , the big 10 has 5 of those.

Ok. Why’s the point spread -6.5/-7 Indiana?

Bama is going to out talent Indiana. Let them haters hate. Already setting trends in this playoff. "Remember the Rose Bowl we'll win then". It literally in the fight song.

There’s a lot more to it than high school star ratings. This isn’t 2015 anymore when there wasn’t a transfer portal.

alabama is facing their biggest point spread as an underdog since 2007.

When the discrepancy in talent is this big, I'm always going to take the more talented team. While that doesn't always play out, I always thought the winner of the OU/Bama game would get past Indiana.

Ohio State has a lot more first rounders on their team than alabama does and Indiana was able to match up with them.
