They both talk far more shite than what they accomplish on the field
They both came in crowing about how they'd own the conference despite neither ever dominating the Big XII

I never competed in college athletics. It is a hobby of mine that is fun to watch and discuss, but it has no real effect on my life.
The education I received and the money that I earn have had and continue to have a positive affect on my life.

We came in in 2012 thinking we were going to get our asses kicked but that it would be good for us in the long term to play against better teams.

You're so full of fricking shite it makes my head hurt. There are a couple of posters on both sides that talk mad shite but the rest of us have been pretty goddamn humble about joining this conference.

Horns are lifting all boats in the SEC by joining the conference. Why all the hate? We will embrace it and enjoy the ride. Got a good running start and look forward to competing.

They're mostly Texans and as such this is what they do in life, not just college football. There are two kinds of people in Texas whose ancestors were not brought there against their will...people who could not succeed where they were and did not have the balls to continue onto the west coast or direct descendants of the poorest poor people the United States ever produced. Those same poor bastards were luckier than shite though and their last grasp of hope turned out to sit atop a vast oil reserve...so now there is money up the wazoo in the hands of the direct descendants of the poorest folks ever to find themselves in North America. There is a reason everything is bigger in Texas...its because there is nothing special about Texas except in the minds of those descendants who, like any poor person who backs into untold wealth, comes to conclude that they did something other than quit. You will hear Texans talk about more hat than cows...they think that shite is HILARIOUS. What is truly hilarious is it applies to everything west of the Sabine and east of the Llano Estacado.
