re: Football Recruiting & Roster
Programs like UNC and VT stepping up would certainly come at Clemson's expense. They have basically cherry picked the Carolinas for a long time now with minimal competition, so another program presenting itself as a viable option to kids from that region would make things a little more interesting. But regardless of who it is, someone in the ACC needs to make Dabo work. Clemson gets to coast into the playoff every year with minimal opposition.

They've added a bit of a national reach with skill kids, but their bread and butter are the Carolinas, Florida and Georgia.

re: Football Recruiting & Roster
Ranking the Contenders: James Brockermeyer

quote:

1. ALABAMA

Brockermeyer has tacked up almost 100 pounds of muscle from this time a year ago until now, as the Rivals250 center continues to bulk up his frame and prepare for his senior season and his future in the college ranks. New Alabama strength coach David Ballou has kept in contact with Brockermeyer to discuss why the facilities and resources in Tuscaloosa would help him continue to do that, while offensive line coach Kyle Flood and Nick Saban oft-discuss Alabama's winning tradition and the high standards in and around the football program.

If not for the recruiting dead Period, Alabama would have had the opportunity to host the Brockermeyer twins twice already this offseason, including an official in March. Now, the Tide will look to close with the twins this fall.

I could see him make a huge leap in the rankings if he continues to do the work necessary

Uhh I’m not sure that is even possible. But he did say he has gained about 105 pounds since he started his freshman year.

re: Football Recruiting & Roster
It could be a combination of lowering his body fat percentage in addition to adding additional weight. Still would be really tough to accomplish.

re: Football Recruiting & Roster
Y'all aren't entirely accounting for the fact that he's a teenage boy and attends a private school. He's got a frick ton of HGH running through his veins and parents who can afford to feed him the calories he needs to take maximum advantage of it. Being able to meet calorie needs with good, clean food is the primary reason you see some of these dudes blow the frick up during their first year in a college strength program. Most of them just can't afford to eat the amount of good food they need to gain weight without getting fat. College programs make it free for them though.

Our basketball team offered TE Michael Trigg.

We were not in his top schools because he wasn't getting the chance to play basketball. Also Hall is in his ear.

Latrell McCutchin CBd to OU by Hank with high (7) confidence.

Dallas Turner CBd to Bama by Rusty Mansell (Dawgs247) with high (8) confidence and by RJ Young (OUInsider) with medium (6) confidence.

Just looked at his recruiters and saw that Lance Taylor is the RB coach at Norte Dame. I had no idea.
