Normal people don’t care anymore. Get them out

What’s the definition of a normal person?

Not saying Joe Rogan is normal, but he disagrees with you. He does not like what he is seeing and I would think the majority of Americans agree with him, but most Americans aren’t normal.

A lot of mistakes can happen in 24 hour deportations.
Don’t want to watch or care about the meeting.

There’s more than one meeting. The real meeting isn’t going to be televised.

The kid wasn't deported, dickhole. The mom was deported, and she decided to bring the kid along.

It’s long thread that has been going on for a few days.

This is not a normal deportation. She was at routine immigration meeting with her daughters. After the meeting she was detained. The father was notified and he came to the immigration office and was trying to get his family released. He had an immigration lawyer that never talked to the mother. He wanted the children released to him and their aunt who is a US citizen.

There is something weird about this deportation. Why was she detained at a routine check in? Why was he not detained while he was at the ICE detention center? Why was the lawyer not able to talk to her? Why did all this happen so fast? She’s not a member of a gang, so why was she deported in 24hrs?

This is something he promised he would do last Spring. I don’t think most people thought he was serious. This is something that is in the Project 2025 playbook too

I think it was a good idea and they are trying, but at the end of the day it’s not going to make a big difference.

They will end up hiring people for most of the jobs that were cut or outsource the jobs.
I’m not gonna say Scientific Reports is wrong, but they will publish almost anything. Scientific Reports is an open access medical journal. Open access journals will allow almost anyone with right credentials to publish. The head of my wife’s department said that almost all college professors use open access journals to get and keep tenure. In 2023 Scientific Reports had over 10,000 articles retracted.

Published by Scientific Reports
Donald Trump’s face was hidden in an image of baboon feces. Another claimed to have evidence of an ancient city's destruction by a celestial body. They also published an article about how people could grow a horn on the back of their head from staring down at their phones to much.

We love our First Lady!

Do you remember her being mad about her approval rating after they left office in 2021?

She can be cool, but all First Ladies are supposed be. Most have been more popular than their husbands.

She is the least popular 1st lady to leave office(2021) with approval rating to disapproval rating since Florence Harding in the 1920’s. It’s probably because Trumps approval rating dipped at the end of his first term.

Because banks are too big to fail. The government would never need $700 billion to $1 trillion to bail them out and not be paid back
School choice is what middle to upper class people who want there kids out of shitty school districts and want them better schools. It’s not about the poor or the minorities.

I can understand why some people like or want school choice, but I am not a fan. It would be like the NIL in college and it would get out of control.

I moved to my public school district before I had kids for the school. The school has great academics, great sports programs, police presence at each school, and the high school has a nurse practitioner or a doctor available for students 2 to 3 times a week(free). Some parents take their kids to the doctor just to get referrals.

I chose the best district for my kids. If I wanted my kids to go to a school 10 miles away that starts teaching Spanish in kindergarten because of the high Hispanic population I would have moved to that district.

School choice would be great for my schools football team. We already have the best football program in the state and it is ranked in the top 10 best small town football programs in the country. We would ranked in the top 100 every year

What would you do as a parent? Leave your child behind to prove a point or take care of your child?

Leave them with their father that was at the ICE field office or with her sister that is a US citizen

Like I’ve said something is weird about this deportation. The father gets to stay. Why?

meanwhile, this is what a fully legal deportation with exemplary due process looks like:

This doesn’t seem like a normal deportation. The mother and the girls were at a routine immigration appointment. The mother had to have broken the law or something that would get her deported at an immigration appointment.

The father showed up at the ICE field office after the mom and girls were detained and he wasn’t deported. The father was trying to get the girls to his sister-in-law who is a US citizen.

When the father was talking to the mother and tried to give her a lawyer’s phone# the phone was taken from her before he could finish.

quote:

When the father arrived at the address, which led him to the ICE field office in New Orleans, officers gave him a paper saying the mother was “under their custody” and said they could not give him any more information but V.M.L’.s mother “would call him soon,” the petition said.

quote:

Before the father could finish providing the mother with contact information for their attorneys, he heard the ICE officer “take the phone from her and hang up the call,” according to the petition.
Last time I saw them was in Mountain Home, AR in 95 or 96

They’ve had a White Pride radio billboard around Harrison, AR for years. Don’t know if it’s still up. It was up in 2020

There is no blanket asylum for Hondurans.

No we don’t have a blanket asylum. If they enter US illegally they can’t later claim asylum. They must claim asylum before entering the US. Before 2019 they could enter the US and then claim asylum. The people that entered illegally before 2019 can stay with the asylum process. It’s the same deal Homeland Security made with Guatemala in May 2019 and El Salvador in September 2019.

Homeland Security made it easier to come here legally. It takes a minimum of 5 years and regular immigration appointments to become a citizen.
Lost all the gains I made from July 2024 in 3 months.

The market will recover and we will start getting decent returns, but the last 3 months have caused this to be the worst cycle(7/1 to 6/30) in over 20 years. A 2% to 3% YTD is awful. I think the worst year I’ve had in the last 15 years is 8%. Last year was between 11% and 13%
