Soon as I heard he was coming from Memphis I thought this is a Laurie-Walton hire.
Just like with Odom and Kerrick Jackson the Laurie-Walton family have a hand in who is hired.
They control almost all of Memphis sports and now they are bringing their people to Mizzou.

One of Vitello best coaching jobs was working with Max Scherzer. Jamieson and Vitello shut him down in the middle of the season and completely changed his footwork. Scherzer would throw pitches and his hat would fly off.

Might have been talked about, but I didn’t know Jamieson was the pitching coach. He was 698-565-3 as the head coach for 22 years from 1995 to 2016. He got us to 7 straight regional finals and 1 super regionals ...

He is ranked as the top forward, 9th best player in the portal, and the 2nd best player with more than 1 year of eligibility.
We will now have 13 4* players adding 9 to this years class and 4 of them came from the portal.

Mizzou spending money. Mitchell is going to cost a lot. He is ranked as the 9th best player in the portal. He is going to cost more than $250,000. Last year Caleb Love was ranked 16th and Shedrick 22nd and we were going to pay more than $250,000 for each

Keeping the M is really cool. I thought it would be gone. Building new facilities for recruiting is not something I was expecting.

Football
Schools like South Carolina, OU, Texas, A&M, Ohio State, Michigan, USC, and more haven’t had their Spring games. The 18th is just 5 days after the Arkansas Spring game. Gotta give the kids more than 5 days to decide. Middle of May after finals should be the last day to enter the portal.

Hopefully the cap on the money isn’t to low, because Mitchell is going to cost a lot. Don’t know how much we have spent on the freshman class, Bates, Crews, and Perkins, but I hope we have some left.

6’4’’’ 214 lb PG Tony Perkins from Iowa is on campus this weekend. Last year he averaged 14 PTS, 4.6 AST, 4.4 RBS, and 43.2 FG%.
ESPN-Perkins is a 4* ranked 37th overall and 7th best PG
Rivals-Perkins is a 4* ranked 53rd and 10th best PG
On3-Perkins is a 4* ranked 69th overall and 13th best ...
