It's true in the same vein AOC and a litany of her brethren are DINOs. They are communist-socialists. Rand is libertarian.
Republican in name only is a hilarious insult because Republican is only a name for a political party.
You should want every politician to have principles (ideological, religious, moral, etc) that take priority over the letter next to their name.

With a reduced welfare state, he is for unlimited immigration. His words.
Wrong

2- After getting elected in the rise of the tea party, he changed his tune and sided with Obama.
 On one issue. Do you think Trump would disagree with Obama on every single issue?
quote:
3- He has already sought to end Trump's power of diplomacy in using tariffs.
Good. frick dumbass protectionist economics.
quote:
4- He is a libertarian who had to run as a republican to get elected.
Sweet. Republicans are mostly just as happy to ruin the country as dems. IDGAF if someone steals one of their seats

Here illegally... they should be deported.
Period.
OK. Then you say "I disagree with Rand Paul when he says he wouldn't deport everyone"
Instead you said "Rand Paul is open borders"
That's some CNN anchor woke college professor level f8ggotry

He would love open borders if we reduced the welfare state.
quote:
There was a PEW study that added up data from a lot of different countries, and asked them, if you could, would you go to the United States? 600 million would come. We’re a country of 300 million, it would be a bit disruptive to have 600 million people show up, so it has to be an orderly process, and there is now a great religious sort of struggle and war going on [and people] who for many different reasons, don’t like Americans and would come and kill us
Yeah sounds like it
Why didn't you post that part of the quote btw? Seems like you stopped one sentence before it for some reason

Guess you didn't read my post so I'll just copy paste
Please try to read slowly and comprehend this time.
How you strike a balance between deportations and integrations into society for immigrants that are already here is a separate issue from border security/open borders.

I don't need the rest of anything. I look at his actions and his words. He stated clearly he is for unlimited work visas.
In a February 2013 Washington Times op-ed, he staked out yet another position. The man who once called the DREAM Act a politicized form of lawless amnesty wrote: “After ensuring border security, then I would normalize the status of the 11 million undocumented citizens so they can join the workforce and pay taxes. I would normalize them at a rate of about 2 million per year. I would start with DREAM Act kids, children brought here illegally as minors.”
He joined Obama on that.
And?
How you strike a balance between deportations and integrations into society for immigrants that are already here is a separate issue from border security/open borders.
You can disagree with him but that does not make him in favor of open borders

quote:
Rand Paul: If it were only border controls that had to do with people coming to work, I’m for as many people coming to work who want to. I’m for an expansive work visa program where we don’t mind people coming to work.
Milton Friedman also had something good to say on this. He said basically you can’t have open borders and a welfare state.
Rand Paul is an open border guy.
The rest of that quote, dumbass
quote:
So the problem is … we’ve agreed to have some coercion and compulsion in our government. In our system, it’s much greater than I would have, so half of my income is taken from me and given to government. If we say we’re going to have an open border in that system, then it would be 75 percent or maybe 100 percent of my income that goes to other people through a form of compulsion. There was a PEW study that added up data from a lot of different countries, and asked them, if you could, would you go to the United States? 600 million would come. We’re a country of 300 million, it would be a bit disruptive to have 600 million people show up, so it has to be an orderly process, and there is now a great religious sort of struggle and war going on [and people] who for many different reasons, don’t like Americans and would come and kill us, so you have to know they’re coming across the border to try to stop them.

Yeah, you are dead wrong. Back your claims up if there's so much evidence, don't "do research" me.
Rand has been more moderate on deportations, focus on the criminals kind of policy.
Pathway to citizenship for non-violent immigrants that are already here - yes.
Secure the border - yes.
Remove welfare state incentives for immigrants - yes.
Let anyone in - no.

That's because Rand is an open border guy
Because he wants to spend 75 billion to secure the border instead of 150 billion
Y'all are as bad as lefties sometimes. Rand is not an open borders guy.

Yet if it weren't for KJ they never would have been in the game. Once again for the 20th or so time he took a team on his back and threw a rope for the go ahead TD

Funny he owns the majority of Qb records at the university weird right?

I guess so when one side can't get over thier hurt feelings about a player and ignores the facts that said player was one of the few key reasons the team won there's really nowhere to go.
Had to revisit this thread 9 months later.
Since then KJ got benched 5 games into the season and didn't play again, and then went undrafted.
On the bright side I did see he was ranked the 28th best undrafted QB available.... out of 28.
Hope he put some of that NIL into savings.
re: Hadn't really followed his career since Ole Miss days. Was surprised to learn Chad Kelly..

I still like the mid $2s as a target. As mentioned before, the lithium price is trying to hold this thing down, so we'll see

Volume precedes price. (sometimes)
A lot of activity this morning. The price history doesn't show it but I know that it hit $1.96 briefly because my sell went through. Essentially went up to the resistance. Could just be consolidation now. We'll see
