Leatherwood seems to be a James Carpenter 2.0. Maybe a little more athletic, but a guy that could play anywhere on the OL. Wills and Jonah Williams were slightly better prospects but I think Leatherwood possibly has his best football ahead of him. Some say he's a Tyron Smith clone.

Hard for me to believe Najee is not considered a 1st rounder. His speed is a little lacking but everything else is superlative . Walter Payton and Emmit Smith did not gave great speed either among many by other top notch 1st rounders. He is going to be a huge asset for any team and does not have an injury history or much tread on the legs. Definitely first round caliber. Miami fans seem to want him bad.

I agree with you. He also needs to play more loose. He was so scared to screw up last year that he wouldn't throw a ball downfield unless the guy was wide open. Checkdowns in the NFL aren't what they were at Alabama. The athlete differential isn't there.

Having to cheer for Miami to win is gonna suck. Being raised in Florida, I fricking hate the Dolphins.

That’s what Hurts was like at Bama towards the end of 2016 and all throughout 2017. It’s why he lost the starting job. Tua was the opposite but now he’s playing the same way.

Kiper has posted his first mock. If anyone has ESPN+ and wants to update the rest of us, please do.

Highest I've seen Mac and lowest I've seen Surtain, Smith, or Waddle.

Yeah

Jeudy got unlikely last year going to the Broncos. Meanwhile Justin Jefferson got lucky by going to a team that already had plenty of weapons and knew how to use them.

I am just happy they are predicting 6 first rounders for us and that does not even include Leatherwood. Lately people, like Jeremiah, have been downgrading our players.
Now I think 6 might our floor for the first round.

I think floor is probably four (Smith, Surtain, Waddle, Barmore) and, if everything in predraft process goes great for the other guys (Mac, Najee, Leatherwood), seven is probably the ceiling.

15 - Patriots - Jaylen Waddle

Interesting that Leatherwood and Brown slide in there after Senior Bowl practices but Mac does not.

Carolina seems to be looking hard at Mac for the 8th pick. Kiper and McShay both said he might be moving into the top 10. McShay said he has him at #15, but he might go earlier in the first 10.

they have the dolphins taking smith and najee in the first round. while i love najee, i would think the dolphins would take pitts if hes on the board at the 18th pick. can you imagine tua with smith and pitts to throw to, combined with that defense. they do need a better runningback, but you can more easily pick up guys lack that in later rounds. not many guys like pitts, period. Hes not much of a blocker yet, but man that guy can run and catch. Tua needs good targets.
