Exactly, we scored 26 points the first half. At least we got the offense on track. The defense was bad the entire game.

True. It was strange that the two drops were fairly easy catches, then he got hit pretty hard on the catches.

One thing about our receivers, there were several times they just ran their route to a spot and then just stood there with the defender standing next to them.. All of them. Our QB would start to scramble out of the pocket, and they are just standing there with their finger up their rear end. Our coach was asked at his press conference about that from a reporter and he told the reporter that yes he was correct. He said, we need to be moving when our QB starts to scramble, because he is very good at keeping his eyes down field while he moves, and those are the kind of situations where you can have a big play. If a reporter can pick up on that, surely our receivers coach can see it and know they need coaching?

I would think both teams will play all their players and not really go all out to win the game. Its obviously a fund raising deal, and a chance to see all the new players. RTR

They moved the ball pretty well in the last scrimmage and did OK in the first scrimmage other than the start. A couple of our coaches have made positive comments about the O line. Better tight ends will help. Hopefully the running backs and receivers will also be better. That will help the O line.
I dont see how the running backs could be worse.

The defensive secondary can be very good, but if the D line cant get and pressure on the QB, we will get burned on defense. It really comes down to the O line and the D line for this team. Maybe the linebackers too. Plus we might be so thin in some areas that an injury could cause all kinds of problems. That happened on our O line and at quarterback last year. One game we had a center out there that could hardly walk and there were other O linemen out too. Depth will be a problem for most teams though. Its just worse in the SEC because its so physical.

hopefully this is the last year of the Euro professionals taking up the basketball scholarships from the US kids. Thats BS for several reasons.

the ncaa needs to put an end to these foreign 24 year old professionals getting scholarships. Maybe Trump will stop it.

Our problem last year was not just the O line. A great running back can make a big difference.
