The Alabama athletic dept lost 12 million dollars for the year ended 6/30/23
And, NIL is much worse today then a year ago.

I majored in accounting at Alabama. Those professors would ride your arse back then in the 70s. My roommate flunked the first intermediate class before the first test was even given because he didnt turn in 3 homework assignments. Busted him in front of the class. Told him he could keep attending ...

I remember a professor at a smaller university over in Ga (related to my wife)
tell me that education at the under graduate level isnt that different. He was a math professor and said I can teach an under graduate math class as well as anyone at Duke. The difference is in upper lever, PHD programs...

The Illinois strategy didnt work. They tried to go right at the big man, and he just blocked shots and shut them down. Finally after getting way behind they tried shooting 3s, but couldnt make one. ...

Pretty sure Oats said NIL has priority over a new building. Plus he has also said everything the players see and use is very nice.
And, the "blue hairs" those would be the ones you are asking to pay for the thing, and then you want to kick them to the street? That aint the way it works....

Our doctors have always been very conservative on when an injured player can come back. Remember several years ago when we had a football player that our doctors would not clear due to something related to his heart.
Was it Baylor he transferred to and got cleared immediately?

The perimeter defense is all about the quickness of the guards. The better teams, FL, TN, Aub, KY all have quicker guards than us. Plus, their quicker guards can defend our guards closer and make it hard to shoot the 3, or drive past them. John Wooden said quickness is the most important attribut...
