Graduate transfers can still transfer tho under current rules.
We are already a top contender, imo, but Kohler would put us in the top 3. Could you imagine running out a lineup of Allen, Cloer, Garrison, Fielder, and Kohler if we needed to?
I know we are trying to game the system to basically guarantee a top 4 seed year over year, but imo this is ridiculous. You can play home games, its ok.
This puts Bama into the top 10 list for biggest frontcourts in CBB. 82.6 inch average. Ties us with UCONN and UNC.

Watching his highlights, he wont see the floor this year unless injuries have devastated us. But I see potential. He's obviously still learning, but has a soft touch when needed, long arms and can jump a bit when he needs too. I love that we took a chance on him. Give him a year of S&C and learning, and I bet he will flourish.

edit: has fairly quick feet too. Hes not stuck in mud.

Now that the roster is set, anyone wanna take a stab at the lineup and minutes?

Starting is

Amari 1.
Tarris 2.
Cloer 3
Fielder 4
Garrison 5

6th man: Bristow
7th: Biz as backup PG/SG

This roster is a lot better than the national media is treating it. I feel like I could be completely wrong. The only firm starters imo are Amari and Garrison, everybody else is interchangeable.

I picked this lineup based on size and versatility. They can all shoot and they can all switch on defense.
I mean, 2026 seniors did kinda get screwed. everyone ahead of them got a covid year, everyone after gets 5 for 5. Theyre sandwiched. Only guy we had that would be eligible for this if it went nationwide would be the only senior we dont want back

I do know that sometimes genes get messed up. It seems more common these days for people to be confused. Maybe they just hid it better before. I have no idea.

this only applies to the last decade or so.

female to male, it's a social pressure. Girls have always been more susceptible to influence as a teen. It was anorexia, then cutting, now transitioning is the cry for attention.

Males to female. 90% of the time its sexual fetishization. Theyre gay, or bi, and have watched too much porn and have started fantasizing being a woman in bed. Thats all it is. Theyre entire worldview is painted through sexuality ans they have no personality outside of that. And those who have done it as adults, are pushing younger and younger gay kids to do it.
My uncle transitioned to living as a woman in the 80s. Is almost 60 now and still living as a woman despite the male pattern baldness.

But, he does actually have mental illness and knows it.

What I find strange is that he hates modern trans/lgbtqyadayada more than I do. More politically conservative than me in nearly every aspect.

Also other kinds of kookoo. Grew up in the foothills of Mt St Helens. Insists he/she/they has seen Bigfoot multiple times. Part new age witch, part Weslyan Christian, part hyper conservative.

He's an odd duck.
I dont understand why athletic departments are so insistent on sacrificing the other sports, that they will go to the state legislatures to help destroy college sports. I understand the difference in the popularity of football, and let's say rowing. But the job is manage all university sports, not solely to increase the bottom line via FB and MBB. Athletic Director is the title, not CEO.
Im 39 years old. $600k cash would be an absolutely life changing sum rn, would open up so many avenues we dont currently have available. I say that despite the fact we already have the house and cars paid off.
Am I alone in thinking that Aden doesnt impact this teams ceiling or floor all that much?
My wife was also born missing most of her right arm. I'm pretty she would have gotten arrested for assaulting an officer if that dumbass tried this with her. So I commend this lady on her patience, lol.
I think Garrison is going to be a borderline all american in our system. Hes perfect. He's a much better shooter than anyone realizes. I think he shots 35% on volume this year.

edit: Also, last year when Philon was out, we had 2 of our 3 best offensive games. He was a truly great player, but the ball had a tendency to stick to him. I think Allen is going to be a terrific point guard.
Man, I was 95% sure he was coming back, but im still super fricking excited.
I said non zero, I didnt say it was way above zero.
I think theres no rules anymore. Will Wade just got whats his face from St Johns on his team. If Philon wants to come back im sure they'll make a way
I know im gonna be up till midnight waiting. Bros gonna pull a Philon.

Speaking of

I think there is a non zero chance Philon comes back. There's so much competition at guard this year, and he is the second shortest and the lightest.
forgot about DF. I like what we did overall. We have plenty of interchangeable depth at the 4 and the 5. With the wings we have, we have versatility. Defense should be significantly better than the last 3 years.

It will help that I think we arent going to be playing hero ball at the 1, 30% of the time. We've played defense the last 3 seasons essentially 4 on 5, because our lead guards struggled while trying to rest on defense. Like Sears before him, Philon had abysmal defensive numbers this last year as a high volume scorer. I think the staff will stop relying on one guy like that, we will get buckets as a team.
If we get Allen and Biz back, this is assuredly a top 10 team. Allen is the more important one there.

I am still worried about how we match up against a team like FL, but we should be better down low than last year. If Collins is healthy I think he makes a huge defensive impact with his size and athleticism.

I think Garrison shoots 35% from 3 on volume this year too. Hes gonna be a monster with proper motivation.
I hate, HATE, that he is perpetuating that stereotype.
