I would expect this offseason to be the one that affects us the most.
I've said plenty of times that I think this off-season is an anomaly. NIL has grown exponentially, to the point I think we'll see the scales tip back to more realistic numbers.

Glad to have better Jarin on the team
Jarin's biggest probably is he played like a giant pussy. He's got great potential, but needs to figure it out mentally. Hopefully Bristow is a dog.

Coward will have more exposure at Duke. There are more reasons than just money to go to Duke
But Duke also has way more money to throw at recruits than us. They're probably top 3 in basketball NIL.

Raised in Orlando, it also sucks. Though the latinas there are way hotter than dem big ol San Antonio women.

13th best roster according to Torvik
Well right now we're outside the top 30 according to Torvik for next season.
That's without Wrightsell and Mallette included. Put them on the roster and we move to #26. Add Philon too, and we're at #18. Add Coward too, and we're #15.

I would think both. Coward can play 4 or 3. Rylan can play 3 or 2(not that we need more 2s).
Wrightsell is also just a huge question mark. Long wings who are athletic, can defend, and shoot pretty well are pretty plug and playable.
Coward only played 6 games, but he did average 7rpg, so you may be right about him at the 3 or 4.
I personally love Rylan at the 2 guard spot. I want long guards for defensive purposes. It's why I didn't like Wrightsell playing the 3 spot defensively. At his size, he's a guard that plays with a wings offensive skill set.

Not nearly as wealthy as he could have been had he allowed CNO to develop him for another year.
Please, explain how that's possible? He got drafted on with and potential. To move up from #13 overall pick isn't easy.
Now if you had said JD, you might be correct about that. But Kira?

On a related note, how’s Kira Lewis doing?
You mean former lottery pick Kira Lewis? He's in the g League still.
He's also earned $17 million in 4 years. Dude is living pretty good, even if he never gets back to the pros. He definitely made the right pick for his future by entering the draft and being a lottery pick.

Explains why we didn't get Jasper. I knew they would throw whatever it took to keep him home. Especially him being a 2 generation legacy. But that's insane money for a HS recruit. He's not even a 5 Star. He probably got double or triple what most guys around #20 received.

Looked like he had solid passing ability for a big guy. The stroke looks clean. Though you wish his percentage was higher, but I'm not sure what his shot selection looked like. We've definitely had guys come in and improve their shooting %.

Yeah, that's why we didn't keep him. Can't blame him at that price. He might not make that in the next couple decades of work.

Duke had Isaiah Evans announce he's returning for his sophomore year. He was a 5 Star last year that plays the same position as Coward.

Basketball ends with a one and done tournament that can pretty easily see a top team get knocked out. A few of these 10-20 mil teams will get knocked out in the first weekend and the house of cards will fall.
Just saying, I get Kansas spent $8 million last year, maybe 10. And Bill Self is a good coach.

Apparently he's a 30% 3 point shooter who average 3.5 to/game last year. I didn't watch USC play, but sounds like a bad fit.

Things have gotten out of hand if players like Aberdeen are commanding 2 million a year. I don’t see how this is sustainable.
It's not. But right now multi-millionaires and billionaires have a shiny new toy to play with. Some will eventually get bored, some will get mad that their money hasn't paid off and some will probably swing their dicks around and use their influence to over the athletic departments (us pre-Saban). Some will unfortunately be successful.
But there's no way this can continue for long without destroying the sport. A few schools have blown up the market, and now anyone decent is expecting unrealistic money.

I'm more curious if our players live for bitches and blunts or if they live for weed and money.

It starts to get hard after 10 players. And now with NIL, guys don't want to be buried and not get any pt. Because playing time is how they'll get a larger deal for the next season. I think you'll see at least a few situations similar to Kansas last season. You can stack up on talent, but the pieces have to fit. You never know how chemistry will be. And boosters are gonna be pretty pissed when they drop $10+ million on a 1st round exit 7 seed.

I'm definitely in favor of skipping the drawn out/click baity articles. Just a little surprised at how passionate he is against on3. I guess I'm just used to Shannon Terry's sites being the most popular.
