Jalen Milroe Says Texas 'Dropped The Ball' In His Recruitment

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe appeared on the "Bussin' With The Boys" podcast this week and talked about his recruitment.
Milroe, a native of Katy, Texas, was originally committed to Texas but said he was still being recruited heavily by Alabama. He revealed that a persuasive phone call from Nick Saban moments after Tua Tagovailoa was drafted swayed his commitment to the Crimson Tide.
Host Taylor Lewan asked him if Texas dropped the ball, which Milroe admitted they did. Per On3:

Milrow was committed to Texas for two years, so he was asked by the Bussin With the Boys crew if the Longhorns “dropped the ball.”
“Yeah they did,” Milroe said. “There (were) some things during the process that (that I looked at and said for my future), I think Alabama would be best.”
