One thing's for sure. The next school knows that if Dad's not happy, he will probably tweet something negative about the school.

He is a 4.48 kid, running to his 3rd college. Maybe Mcneese or Nicholls will be his next stop on his national tour?

The reason I got out of coaching EARLY. What "parents" don't see is what the coaches see every day. My first asst job was a high school asst baseball gig. We had told the players on the first day of practice half the team would be taking BP why the other half worked in the field. Then the next day would be vice versa. Just for these 2 days. One parent comes screaming at the head coach on the first day, who's son was to to take fielding and throwing practice only, wanting to know why his son wasn't allowed to hit. After it was explained they started yelling favortism. Frick that.

The ellipsis with four periods tells me all I need to know.

Although an ellipsis is technically complete with three periods (...), its rise in popularity as a "trailing-off" or "silence" indicator, particularly in mid-20th-century comic strip and comic book prose writing, has led to expanded uses online. Today, extended ellipses anywhere from two to dozens of periods have become common constructions in Internet chat rooms and text messages.

I use the ellipsis between thoughts... as if I was trailing off... or sometimes as an indication of silence.
