This. Cant have a massive shutdown followed by 4 years of printing money and fabricating the GDP and not expect to get a glaring problem.

Kiran website posted a video of the shooting and an interview with the victim’s mother.
A good defense team gets that dropped down to manslaughter. "victim" clearly instigated this and went physical first. Shooter fricks up by running after him with the gun, but heat of the moment type argument could be enough to sway a jury of fellow citizens

Recession has been imminent for the past 5 years. You cant have massive shutdown, followed by 4 years of printing money, and not have repercussions for it.

Stop with this nonsense. Uhigh has been a more progressive school for years before BLM and Covid and it will continue to be because of the people who send their kids there. When I was in school, Obama won the mock elections in 2008 and 2012. Today, one principal is a lesbian and the other is a black man. There is no agenda to have a “cultural cleansing” aligned with Landry’s ideals. There is definitley a push for more focus on academics and to cut back on the amount of students attending without paying.
Yet they've changed admins, and are terminating senior educators. Look, you have your viewpoint and I have mine, but LSU also shite canned their DEI just prior to Landry taking office (they actually just relocated/renamed it) but the message has been received.

Such a shitty take. Collarbone injuries aren't chronic injuries. They're freak accidents.

Something's Rotten at the Top:
Since booting Kevin George, Interim Administrator Rob Lyles has apparently made employee terminations his new favorite pastime. It’s been a veritable firing frenzy since the start of the year—names dropped with the precision of a dartboard strategy. Thursdays and Fridays seem to be the preferred hit days (how subtle), almost as if someone’s trying to keep things under the radar of the media or labor boards.
The working theory? The school’s bleeding money, and the grand plan is to gut experienced staff and swap in cheaper replacements. So much for all that heartfelt praise at the 2024 graduation—remember the speeches about excellence and community? Yeah, neither do they.
This reeks of a slow-motion implosion. If there’s a vision for the future of this campus, it’s being scribbled on the back of a napkin. Somebody better start asking hard questions—because right now, it’s starting to look like nobody’s job is safe, and the school is headed straight for the iceberg
Or they're realigning UHigh with new Louisiana principles. It's no secret that UHigh went off the deep end with Covid and BLM/LGBTQ/BS. New admin in Louisiana and change is to be expected. Wokeism is no longer tolerated.

Spring golf in Louisiana is really hard on the greens... especially greens that had 6 inches of snow a couple of years after a COMPLETE reno and subsequent drought.
