why did you need to give this dude 7 years

Bc due to the pending penalties, no decent coach was going to come here without protecting themselves financially.
My first choice would be Dennis at Burbank Tire. He was at Interstate Transmission way back in the day until Mr Bill passed away. Now he works out of Burbank Tire and will definitely give you his recommendation on the best route to take.

Second choice is Powertrain Specialties. In Prairieville.

Third Choice would be Prevost Transmission Repair in Independence.

With the type of sales Im in, I go into just about every shop in town on a regular basis. After a few visits, you can quickly figure out where you'd bring your own personal vehicle to and which ones you wouldn’t. Id have no hesitation bringing my vehicles to these shops for transmission work.

Like hell we are. I want them both to lose ??
Unless they were a sh!ty person or bad teammate, I will never think negatively or wish the worst for a former player. Its no different than a coworker leaving a company and going to a competitor.
Yes I know this will seem like a question that an old curmudgeon would ask but my daughter (14, no pics) wants to watch the Bengals Patriots game. Ive tried going on YouTube but having no luck there other than links that want me to install apps. What am I doing wrong here?
All I can offer is that I stayed at the Excaliber back in ‘90 when I was 10 and it was fun since they had a good bit for kids to do. It’s definitely a dated property now though.

This was easily the best line from that discussion.

He hit a home run on a breaking ball the other day.

We are talking about overall picture. Anyone that has watched him since he has been here can see that thats been his nemesis. Yes he hit one the other day but look BIG PICTURE and how many has he hit vs struck out on?

Why lie?

Aside from nothing in that post being a lie, why would I need to? We watch both baseball and softball all the time so she can pick up on hitters tendencies. And being that we love to watch LSU baseball, she has learned that he cant hit off speed pitches or breaking balls. Its just something he hasnt been able to do well.

My 12yo daughter pitches and mentioned last week that she doesn’t understand why teams dont just throw him nothing but change ups and breaking balls ??
Based on one of the baseball recruiting groups Im in, if they go in for one play or one at bat, they are using that year of eligibility.

One of the parents was ticked bc they were told their son would redshirt since their son was coming off an injury and then the coach decided to throw him in the game in the middle of an at bat for someone. A bunch of college coaches mentioned that the only way he could now redshirt was to seek a medical.

If we don’t get the NIL structure organized soon, BK won’t be here that much longer. He’s not like Jay and Kim. He doesn’t like to go booster to booster to politic for the money. He wants everything to go through the collective. Unfortunately our major boosters don’t want to go through the collective and want to have control over which athletes get what money. It’s working for baseball and women’s basketball but not football.

I think a big reason it works for the other sports is due to having much smaller rosters.

Not hard to figure out. Football is next. I can count how many minorities went to Newman to play basketball on one hand before he took over.

Reminds me of those years in the mid to late 90’s when Parkview’s basketball team acquired some badass players and all of a sudden started winning championships ??

re: Patches for Letterman jackets?

Posted by JOHNN on 12/20/23 at 6:54 pm
We always got patches for district championships, making it to certain parts of the playoffs, and state championships. For individual awards, we got patches if we made all district, regional teams, and all state.

For the first year lettering in a sport, we got a very small patch indicating the sport we lettered in that was to go on the big school emblem. Every year after, we got a bar to add to each small patch.

I graduated HS many moons ago, but we had 3 girls on our CC and track team that had so many individual awards and championships that they had patches filling both sleeves, along with the front and back of their jackets. and back. Sadly I only managed a few district championships, and a state runner up.
I get that his height is ideal for a TE, but is there a reason the staff wants him at TE instead of receiver? I dont know much about the kid but couldn’t we use him in a Mike Evans type of role?

so he could hire a no name (Daronte Jones) and still run his own defense.

I sure would have loved to have (2nd half of the season) Daronte Jones this season. Bc once O let him run things his way that defense was worlds apart from this years.
