Cool pic either Foster is taller or Nkemdiche is shorter than I thought, looks like RF is taller

No sweat, in the bag, did you read the slanderous AJC again this morning with an article saying Richt should knock David Kamara's door down trying to recruit him to UGA, trying to get UGA to follow suit with Ole Miss. I love it when the local newspapers try so hard to recruit for a school it comes off as petty, like ScarBARNsky's article last Summer saying if Jameis Winston was SMART he would go to Auburn, we see how that turned out.

Nah, I didn't read it. I don't even waste my time with the AJC anymore.

I would really like for Nkemdiche to come to Bama. But I don't like players more or less blackmailing colleges by trying to get their families, friends, coaches, an offer by a college. Look what happened to Arkansas when their players forced them to hire Malzahn. It was a disaster.

The way it looks, Ole Miss will take Nkemdiche's whole high school football team, just to get him.

Looks like Duron Carter does not think his time in T-town is over quite yet. He even seems to expect to be on the field this spring at some point.

Duron Carter?@DC_CHILLIN_8 Everyone asking if I'm going to play or not ... Guess we'll see in the spring, but I'll tell you this I'm still in Tuscaloosa #ROLLTIDE

If it hasn't been said...

@JHokanson: Hearing that Rivals100 five-star LB and Alabama commit Reuben Foster is contemplating a transfer to Oxford HS (Ala.).

If I ever go to an Oxford High game and see a guy with lotion...

Well, then I'm sure I'll know who MGMooseKnuckle is IRL.

There's a huge difference between telling the AJC that you would really like to play with a friend, and telling coaches that you wont commit unless you offer their friend a scholly. Huge difference, and from everything I've read I'm assuming it's the former.

HA! HA!

More on Foster from a BOL poster

quote:

I played, live and work in Oxford. Got some friends around the team. Ill see if i can find out something.

EDITED: Ive called a couple friends both would be people that would know or have to know if it happends and both said they have been told to look for it to happen. Both made it out to me like they're hearing its a strong possibility. Neither knew the connection to the team. Just a FYI, Oxford is no stranger to transfers, matter of fact they sat out of the playoffs recently due to a transfer.

I don't think Nkemdiche is looking for a "package deal" at all. It seems every time he mentions how "close" he is to a relative or friend, said prospect gets an offer from somewhere. So unless RN is going to somehow sign with five different schools, this isn't your typical Kennan Allen or Isaiah Crowell situation.

If Foster transferred to Oxford High, UGA's chances would go from 1 in 100 to 1 in 10 million.

Auburn beat writers are running with it as well. TTsTowel posted a tweet from one on the last page or the one before that.

Why do AU beat writers care? Do they still think they are in the running?
