Anyone know anything about Vianney Salatchoum?

You haven't started a new thread on this board since 2024. Why do the people that bitch and moan about megathreads never start threads for new and refreshing topics?

The only thing that has been saving me from melting that we missed out on Coawrd was getting Rylan

I'm damn sure not going to melt if Rylan doesn't come here. I'd prefer we find someone else to bring in. He decided he didn't want to be here. Good luck as far as I am concerned.

they should be worried about is who's the new assistant coach going to be...and hopefully it'll be somebody who can teach TEAM DEFENSE!

Brian Adams is responsible for defense unless Nate is planning on making a change, so I would assume the new assistant will be more focused on offense like Pettway and Panone were.

We've got Grubb and DeBoer whose offense relies on big plays in the passing game like Nate Oats relies on the 3.

Does anyone here know anything about Xaivian Lee and how he might fit into our system? He's a PG from Princeton that entered the portal today.

Year three of this request and it appears we are still in the "Nobody Really Cares" phase. I appreciate your continued consideration on this very important topic.

Opening Day is around the corner!.:nana:

Is Clifford Omoruyi the most disappointing transfer of the Nate Oats era?

No imo.

Cliff's per 40 numbers are 15 points, 14 rebounds and 3 stocks with a 1:1 ast/to ratio while shooting 72% from the field and 66% from the free throw line while playing in the fastest tempo in America at 6'11" 240. He's not perfect and has some frustrating moments for sure, but disappointing is not the adjective I would use.

Per KenPom our SOS NetRtg is #2 with an ORtg of #1 in the country. Cliff has overall played pretty well when you consider all of that imo. The defense is definitely broken right now, but i'm not laying that at the feet of Cliff alone or even primarily. What the hell would this defense look like without Cliff in there doing his thing? Much worse is my guess.

I haven't been impressed with Brian Adams so far, but Nate hired him for a reason and Nate knows what he's doing. Hopefully he gets it straightened out quickly or we'll score 96 points and lose by eight and have our season ended abruptly in the NCAAT.

Beetle Bolden and Dom Welch were way more disappointing imo. I would say Nimari Burnett was more disappointing as well so that's at least three guys that I would say before getting to Cliff. We've done really well in the portal when you consider the list below. Almost all of those guys made a made a positive impact at some point in their tenure. Even a guy like Jimmy Rojas had some clutch buckets. I can't think of a single thing Beetle Bolden ever did besides piss me off.

Beetle
Rojas

Keon
Bruner

Gurley
Nimari

Sears
Welch

The first page is probably way out of date by now.
