Wade is a sleazy used car salesman who kinda relies on the out-athlete em method and then molds his team around what they do well. I certainly wouldn't say he has a distinct style like most really successful coaches

Corn dog money is finite and they are going to 100% throw a shite ton of resources at football. Their state is poor with a shrinking population and they’ve had to pay some substantial buyouts so Will Wade isn’t going to get the NiL budget he’ll need to succeed at LSU because their fans don’t care about basketball more than football or baseball.

He was gritty and played tough. Respect to him. He was also just limited a bit at the position. He did enough to not lose us any games and ride the Henry train.
Seems like most of our recruits won’t be taken way high so we may bring them all in.
Kiffin and Cooper. Yeah I was feeling the same as you

Coker. He’d just transferred from FSU and everyone assumed he’d beat out Sims(me included). Sims won the job and was mostly very good but some of the limitations cost us when it mattered most.

Coker started the next year and was still in a qb battle until after the Ole Miss game. We had Derrick Henry in his best season that year though so we were able to make it work and Coker did enough good and limited mistakes to get us to the promised land.

After that we went on a fantastic run of QBs up until Milroe.

I’ll say one thing, if the text transcript I saw floating online is accurate and that’s all the prosecution has then Terrion should walk and sue Tampa until he owns Busch Gardens and 1,000 strip clubs(only things I know in Tampa)

Oh God Austin Mack is also white and wearing the wrong number. This came out of that data center near Auburn.

Lol who used AI to make that poster and why did it make DeBoer have more hair than he’s had since he was at Sioux Falls?

People always say this shite in a year with a QB competition. Remember Blake Sims looking like white dog shite at A-Day? And then has an all-SEC season in 2014.

Sims was great for what he could do but he also had a ceiling. Unfortunately his backup had a ceiling too and we got a bit more serious about elite qb recruiting after that thankfully.
Preston Murphy post AI Slop video of Noah saying “got room for one more?” and he’s thrown out of the gym like Jazz in Fresh Prince

“Hi, I’m Terrion Arnold for burner phone. Does the government being able to subpoena your text messages got you down?….”
Agree completely. It’s the best.

This brings us to a larger issue: as the University most dependent upon football for its identity, IMO, it behooves the institution itself to provide the funds needed to compete on a level field with the Jed Clampets, shoe cobblers, et al

I don’t know what this looks like though. There’s nothing we can do from a money raising standpoint that other teams who already are ahead of us aren’t already doing.

I will personally absolutely hate the date an ad is placed on our jersey. But LSU is ready to put a tramp stamp on their garbage arse jerseys if it means Lane has an extra WR to throw to. Teams will be whoring out their stadium names and everything else so we’ll only be keeping up with the Jones’ while giving up the best traditions in the sports.

We have the highest social media following in major college athletics but those followers don’t seemingly have an appetite for helping the team be good in any way.
Yeah I agree with you on each of these cases.
I’m a huge fan of Haven and I like Newkirk a lot as well so there’s some positives here.

I sometimes worry about perception becoming reality for recruits and if we get too far from being seen as a hot school for these players then that could be not great but most of them are just chasing a check so I’m not sure it matters anymore. We’ll be as hot as our checkbook allows us to be.
I don’t think it’s really difficult for most of us to understand.

It’s more so that it’s still frustrating to not have at least a slightly more exciting class. I’m all for signing a smaller class and retaining players. I guess I’d be fine with signing 10-15 players if I thought most of them would be starters one day. Right now we have a small class and most of them are depth guys i think. If we sign an amazing class next year that’s great but it’s also going to come with a lot of them needing to make an impact in year 2. I think people are also a bit uneasy because we missed out on smells needed portal pieces as well.

No one is saying the house is fully engulfed in flames. Just a small bit of unease and I really like our staff but they are not beyond reproach or criticism yet.

It is a brave new world and I’m willing to see how all this plays out(as if I have a choice). It’s still going to be a little painful to see two 5 star receivers, 1 who has two brothers on the team and another who grew up being called “Bama” go to other schools.
