And on the same day the Alabama Supreme Court denied Charles Bediako
They haven’t made a ruling yet. It’s just dildo head Pruet, the local judge who denied him the first time.

No. You don’t get better by playing worse players.
Now, you’re correct in Aiden and Charles on the floor together wasn’t working. Oats was doing that for a couple of reasons.
1. We were playing teams with a lot of size and he was matching them.
2. In theory, because Aiden can shoot, it shouldn’t effect spacing that much
But it did. Aiden and Charles together seemed to clog the middle and mess up the ball movement. It was also a small sample size and maybe something that could’ve worked in small doses.
If by some miracle we get Charles back then our ceiling goes up a good bit because we actually have a good 5 outside of Aiden if he is tired or in foul trouble.

It does happen a ton. There was a clip on Twitter recently where a game was a complete blowout. The team getting blown out inbounded with like 6 seconds and I mean FULL COURT SPRINTED and layed the ball in to hit the over by the hook.
If you’re betting on sports you really just have to hope you pick the fixed side.

Ummmm that last meaningless 3 by the MSU player made the over hit. Mississippi Mafia

I’m not at this one sadly. Wish I was. Still holding my undefeated record at games I attend this year.

Battle of Hwy 82. If Alabama wins we annex Columbus, MS. If MSU pulls it off they can have Reform, AL.
It’s really a lose-lose.
It’s really a lose-lose.
It’s not the right call because it’s not in line with what dozens of other players/programs have been allowed to do(including Auburn).
Granting someone eligibility is such an inconsequential thing in the grand scheme of things and white knighting for the ncaa is such a power trip fascist judge type thing for him to do. “Oh let me be the last bastion of amatuer athleticism and prevent this 22 year old from playing basketball while nine 27 year old motherfrickers from Slovenia take Illinois to the final four.
Being made to be the only one playing by the spirit of the law doesn’t make us special. It makes us fools.

Pruet was never going to do it. He really sucks. I was hoping the injunction would go to a different judge.
Those of you who live in Tuscaloosa, please vote this a-hole out as soon as you can.

I think part of Charles’ argument is that he’s still within his eligibility window(which would end this year).
He enrolled and although he left for the G league(that other players have played in and are eligible) he is still within his original window of eligibility.
The ncaa is arbitrarily punishing him for enrolling, leaving, and coming back. If he’d never enrolled at Alabama and gone straight to G League or Europe he’d have 4/5 years of eligibility remaining and could play no problem. Yes that’s as retarded as it sounds.
That being said, I hope he sues them for additional years or lost wages because of how this year played out. I hope he sues them for mental duress. Tell Alexander Shunnarah that Charlie Baker hit him with a car. Whatever forces them to burn it down or fix it.

I don’t think there’s any way the court hears it before the end of the season.
Likely not. I think he’s also seeking another TRO or expedited process.
The way our “university statement” reads sounds like we’re erring on the side of not playing him though

And I say that as someone who really liked Byrne as of a few months ago. I’ve met him a few times. He’s always been a super nice guy. And maybe there in lies the problem. I’m not entirely sure he has it in him to muck it up when you have to.

I agree. I’m tired of the ncaa but I’m also tired of our administration for seemingly being the only ones too soft and/or incompetent to work the system. Ole Miss was basically like “naw Chambliss is playing. Watch this”. I think Sankey and the NCAA have been unfair toward us…but at a certain point you have to big boy them.
Sankey talks shite about us: crickets.
Pearl talks shite: Byrne reads a Bible passage very mildly alluding to Pearl’s cheating. If you can’t dunk on Bruce Pearl’s fat arse in that moment then when will you ever stand up for your teams/athletes?

Soft arse statement. No one in our administration aside from Oats has any testicular fortitude.
Statement should read
“We stand beside Charles Bediako as he appeals what we feel is an unjust and inconsistent decision by the NCAA according to what has been allowed across all sports nationally and in the SEC.
Also Greg Sankey’s mom is giving out 2 for 1 handjobs in midtown Atlanta until 3am.”

Some local judge in College Station, TX is going to rule the NCAA doesn’t have the authority to prevent the Texas A&M players and cheerleaders from wearing only banana hammocks and pierced nipples.

Aiden can’t play 40 minutes and if we play small with Jemison at the 5 against a team with a great 5 we’re getting smoked.
NCAA gonna make us a play in game 16 seed
I’m fine with it. frick em. We conceivably COULD win with Charles. I think our ceiling is significantly lower without him.
