Have you seen UGA’s schedule? I thought their cakewalk days were over once we got rid of divisions. But no, they are still playing as easy as schedule as possible without leaving the conference. I also think Texas is going to be really good unfortunately but they have a really tough schedule.

I don’t really get the LSU hype. They disappointed last year and they basically have a brand new team. I guess they could all gel but they could also flame out. We’ve seen this exact situation at Florida St

I like the optimism but unless we get Holloway back I just don’t see that yet. PG: decline SG: decline SF: push/improve PF: improve C: decline

We are getting Aden back

PG: Decline yes but we’ll be bigger, better defensively and rebounding

SG: Better because Biz is a year older

SF: Better and older

PF: A lot better

C: I guess we’ll see. Maybe I’m just ready to move on from Sherrell but I think we can be better here too.

We’ll be significantly better defensively and we won’t get murdered on the boards. I think this personnel will play Oats system a lot better.
Yeah but that was more an issue of our hitting being cold . Mid week game where we pitched our bullpen and they only scored 1.

If anything that’s more evidence why we shouldn’t pitch Fay.
The biggest thing is I think we’re significantly better and bigger and more experienced at almost every position. Philon we’ll miss but other than that I could make an argument we’re better everywhere.

Holloway will be the only player playing minutes who is under 6’6”.
Yowza. Lot of people are saying ASU is the worst team in the field. Not sure we need our top guy. Maybe Vaughn thinks Zane or Upchurch matches up better against OSU or Upstate for some analytical reason.

We definitely need to meet up before the season starts. We may like each other.

Sounds like a good plan to me!

Man, I was 95% sure he was coming back, but im still super fricking excited.

Same. My biggest worry was that Knicks workout because they will likely have pick 29 and if you like the fit with Amari then you feel ok promising him at 29.

But at the same time they have a lot of prominent players of his size on that roster so I was cautiously optimistic. But I definitely didn’t like not knowing.

With Philon we didn’t expect him back so it was like a shock surprise last year.
Montgomery! I’ve been waiting til you move back to Prattville and we can get a beverage or 3.

Bear88 says we also have to do a Columbus night one day

I won't make the long drives from Montgomery to games too much longer so I need the next 2-3 years to be really good. Thanks Amari!

There’s like 4 or 5 of us that travel from Montgomery/Prattville for the games on this board. We get a few more and just start chartering a party bus
Gotcha. I thought it was this weekend but I guess that wouldn’t make sense with the holiday and the meetings in Destin. Got my weekends mixed up.

Appreciate it!
No real news out of this weekend doesn’t seem.
I’m gonna do nothing anyway. Just to play it safe.
Damn I’ve been thinking Tuesday was the 27th all weekend. Holiday brain
Edit: I’m dumb and can’t do calendars. Wednesday is a big day.

Was AJ right? Was a majority of the team doo doo or is he just another JJ Redick/McDaniel?

No he definitely wasn’t right. This team was picked as the odds on favorite based on talent by a good bit. Ex NFL guys on the team and former college stars.

Corral was awful to begin the year so they traded for DTR and he’s been better but the offense is still really bad.

Holtz brought in a lot of players he knew could execute his scheme and that was successful. This year there’s more talent and less anyone knowing what they’re doing and we’re likely missing the playoffs

St John’s in Birmingham for sure.

Oh damn. I don’t even want to know what Pitino is going to do under the table at Chez Fon Fon
