That or some type of clots or pulmonary type situation. Weirdly happens a lot in basketball players and often is brought to light when they start traveling by plane more frequently.

Hoping it’s not anything like that. Just a weird and sudden announcement always seems to be a bad scenario
Do it enough and they just let it go. Ask Tennessee
I’m ok with him fouling out. I’m honestly ok with more guys fouling out as opposed to giving up easy buckets. Late in the year we’re going to have the type of talented depth that makes it worth it to gamble for a few more steals and getting physical in D.

The only real negative is if we get in a double bonus situation and it takes away from our rebound and go pace. But if they’re going to get a good shot anyway then might as well make them earn it.

Maybe they’ll get lucky & find the next Nick Saban. He’s out there somewhere, grinding away at a lower school or coordinator position.

Not since the days of Penn and Princeton dominating football has there been someone dominate football in that fashion. There isn’t another Saban out there. There could be another Urban or Kirby but even those guys are incredibly rare and usually smart enough not to work for shitshow programs, which this one currently is.

Wow congrats on the trip! BP tweeted about how many fans were there. Good crowd?

It was awesome! Yes, especially knowing we had a big home football game. There was a point late in the 2nd half where “Roll Tide” chant became audible.

During Oats post game interview I was yelling “WE LOVE YOU NATE OATS!” and he seemed to get a kick out of it and pointed at me. I got very fortunate with some amazing seats. Got some cool pics/videos of Philon, Trelly, Amari Allen and Houston Mallete all pointing over at me cause I was raising hell the end of the game

Interesting parallel. aTm paid a much bigger buyout, but God knows they have a lot more money. Then aTm went out and made a great hire so it was the right decision in retrospect. They didn’t have the governor get involved or have a weird AD situation.

It was super embarrassing for aTm at the time but holy shite, this situation takes the King Cake, baby and all

Holloway is going to make a lot of critics eat crow. He will never be a great defender but he is an absolute scoring machine when he is confident.

It was fun to sit around the St John’s fans and see who they gravitated toward on our team. They love good basketball, so they were inquisitive about our guys. With Holloway the whole section I was in was like “who is this kid? He’s incredible!”

They were high on Sherrell as well. Loved how fast the team was in general.

The guy behind me asked if Williamson was a freshman learning the ropes  ouch
Did you keep the receipt for hiring Kelly? Maybe you can return him instead of firing him for cause

Or you could sue for 2 trillion dollars.

He might. I’m trying to make it something your state could afford to pay within its existence.

I do low-key not mind seeing Kelly get shafted. He's just abhorrent. But this is going to affect the future coach search, I would imagine

Him being a massive bell end doesnt constitute for cause termination. This profession is riddled with garbage people that are paid very well. He could’ve been another.

Quit melting

Why am I melting? My team just beat your team again and we are not having to pay Brian Kelly 54 million(154 million???) not to coach
Trying to tie this to a “for cause” firing to squirm out of half the buyout could(lawyers could argue) impact his ability to find future employment in a very lucrative business.

Brian Kelly has coached in National Championship games, cfb playoffs, Heisman winners, etc. at the time of firing he was the winningest active coach in NCAA fb and had a winning record this season. Coaches with lesser resumes have been given 100 million dollar contracts

LSU seems primed to drag him through the mud to break their end of an agreed upon deal. So for that reason, emotional distress, and court lawyer fees, I believe LSU should pay the 54 million buyout plus an additional 100 million of potential cost wages. Start passing the hat boosters!

To be fair, this is what Chicken wanted. A new thread for every random thought that popped into our head. Can’t fault the guy for wanting to share his thought while waiting in the drive thru for his jacks breakfast biscuit

If they want both brothers to go to the same school there really isn’t a better place to have them both be in successful programs that will get you drafted.
He is. He banged up his shoulder in like game 3. Should be back by the end of the month. They were looking good too with him in

Thread of the year? People are talking
Interesting thought I had earlier: If a Genie came to me and said he could do a trade where we get Hurley, Golden, or anyone else AND guarantees us a National Championship OR I could just go on as is with no intervention and just let it play out…I would just let it ride with our guy Oats. It would mean 10x more with him at the helm with what he’s built here
We decided to do sports people actually watch. Congrats on your horseshoe team or whatever.
Rick Barnes is a million years old and Heupel has a BMI of 47 and your baseball coach just went to play with the boys in Tenderloin in San Francisco. Things aren’t trending well.

Go to Gatlinburg and drown your sorrows in funnel cake and air brushed shirts
