Preseason AP Top 25 Released, Nine SEC Teams Ranked

The 2026 preseason AP Top 25 was released Monday, with nine SEC teams earning a spot in the initial rankings.

Georgia leads the SEC at No. 3, followed by Texas at No. 5 and Texas A&M at No. 8. Ole Miss (No. 9), Oklahoma (No. 10), LSU (No. 11), Alabama (No. 13), Tennessee (No. 20), and Missouri (No. 25) round out the SEC teams in the poll.

Ohio State opens the season at No. 1, followed by Oregon at No. 2. Defending National Champion Indiana is No. 6.
