I think that is up to the HC.
Sure. But very few new HC'S inherit day one NFL talent. So, this is a hell of a gamble to make out of the gate. That's all I'm saying.

I think you have a point. But I also believe when you hire a head coach you trust him to make the calls...

Brown was 66% for 9.3YPA at 167 qb rating and 3100 yards.

That’s better than anything AU had last year by a long shot so this might be more of a “need a fresh start” situation rather than wanting to roll the dice in a contract/NFL year with a first year coach.

I can also add this.

Coleman is looking to go somewhere with an established QB getting him the ball. That would seem to rule out anywhere with a new starter.

man golesh is in a tough spot. hard to imagine them putting together a competitive roster for next year at this point.

I agree, but starting over to rebuild the culture is what it's going to take, even if the roster isn't competitive from a talent perspective next year.

We had a competitive roster this year but shite coaching.

If not for Arkansas somehow being a bigger frick up than we were, we would have gone winless in the sec.

I think this kid knows he should be talked about like Jeremiah Smith and most people don't even know who he is. He'll go somehwere he expects to make the playoff and with a scheme and qb he knows he'll put up big stats with. Texas, UGA and A&M seem like the most logical places for him to end up.

If it all ends up being about money & OSU or Indiana win the national championship, Michigan is going to start being wreckless with money and I can see them offering something he can't turn down.

We'll buy the rest of the UGA roster after your NIL is all spent on him.

The only thing Aubie is buying is another 5-7 season, champ.

I'm stunned!

He was literally talking directly with Kirby Smart after the Auburn v Georgia game. I'm guessing he transfers to UGA, but what do I know.
