Great pitching through 7. We need 6 outs!

Good win. I'll take it. South has historically given us fits. On to Athens.

Scratching out the first two games of the Kentucky series has been huge.

4 because we won 3 games in Rupp this season.

8 to 4 on the foul differential and 8 turnovers from AU is why this is close.

You can't convince me OM only fouled 4 times that half.... ridiculous.
Agreed. Off the court was dark, but the 50 shades of gray court design looks worse on tv than in person.
The trend (other than when Caitlin Clark was at Iowa) is that softball has better tv ratings than WBB. With Caitlin gone and the chance of OU softball being more mortal after graduating everyone, I would bet the WCWS has better tv ratings this year than the women's final 4.

I'm saying this has a fan of all sports, including women's sports. Not hating on WBB.
Yeah, AU in person and AU twitter are 2 different experiences.

I loved Westminster Abbey. The cathedrals are mindblowingly beautiful to me, even cooler than the medieval castles/forts. I made the mistake of doing the Tower of London in the afternoon. Definitely book the big attractions like that at 9:00 or whenever they open.

Definitely hit up some pubs. One of my favorite meals in London was Lamb and Flag. Make a reservation.

I'd recommend at least 3 days in Edinburgh. If you read Rick Steves and do your homework, no need for a travel agent.

If you are interested in an AirBnB, I highly recommend this one. It's in Old Town, and you are only a five minute walk from St Giles Cathedral in one direction or the Waverly train station in another. You really get a good feel for the city staying in a place like this. LINK

I went in December. Loved it. Just nowhere in the world like Paris, and I've been to a Europe two other times.

Read the Rick Steves guidebook before you go and watch Les Frenchies on YouTube. Do those two things, and you'll know what to do to get the most out of your trip and how to interact with the people.
Vitamin P is still undefeated.

Yes, insane that the Jazz were at the Magic and that she was at Disney World. Good for them.
Westminster Abbey is really, really beautiful and full of history. Your boys will enjoy it.

Edit: if you want a nice pub meal, get a reservation at Lamb and Flag.

Green extended Coach Flo, which was a massive mistake. Johnnie had to rebuild this program from the ground up.

For food, I recommend the Devil's Advocate in Old Town and Bon Vivant in New Town.

I went to Edinburgh in late June in 2023. Weather was awesome. 72 every day. The day that I went to Stirling was a little cloudy and chilly but the only heavy rain was late one night. From what I hear, tat never happens. I got lucky with the dry weather.

In Edinburgh, I recommend taking the light rail down to the port area (Leath). Touring the Royal Yacht was fun, but it was nice seeing another area of the city. Walk to where all the locals live in Leith and have a good meal. Don't just stay right around the Royal Yacht.
