Disagree. Harsin didn't recruit and tried to tank the program. He was better on Gameday than Freeze, but not overall.

Alabama will be the more talented roster.

re: Seattle in late May

Posted by all4AU on 12/18/25 at 1:49 am to
I went in December so the weather and amount of daylight was much different. Make sure to visit UW's campus. I hear the cherry blossoms are beautiful in spring, but May might be too late to see the blossoms.

I liked Seattle's light rail.

Definitely do all the touristy things: Space Needle and Pike Place Market. Ivar's Fish and Chips is the touristy food thing, but fun. There are also some fun food tours: Chef's Tasting Tour of Pike Place Market and also the Underground Donut Tour. Book a boat tour (there are several options). Catch a Mariners game.

Do something outdoorsy outside of the city. I hate I didn't go to Mount Rainier. I did this hike to Twin Falls and visit to the town of Snoqualmie to see the falls there: LINK The host meets you in town and drives the tour group out in a van. She's really good though. I will warn that it's a moderate hike. Could be too much for a 12 year old.

I would recommend Seattle to anyone though. Lots of stuff to do. The Seattle Spheres is another thing I didn't get to do that looks cool.

Team that makes the least amount of mistakes wins.

Bama had 3 turnovers last time, but now they get OU's D-line in Norman. Mateer is certainly capable of hurting his team too. Definitely the game of round 1 to watch.

I've enjoyed this game. Hard hitting.

The energy of this game has been good. Maybe every bowl needs to matchup former rivals.

There's definitely been some juice. They need to make this a regular season game now that Jax St is FBS.

I went to the Biltmore last January, and all the Christmas stuff was still up. Worth the price to me. Make sure you do every part of the inside (basement, etc but hards to miss, lol). And don't forget to walk and check out the Conservatory. Get all you can out of what you paid for.

The subway is not hard. You buy a metro card when you get there and add rides. Buy an additional ticket if you ride outside of zone 1 (e.g. to Versailles).

In London, go to Lamb and Flag in Covent Garden. Get a reservation.

There's nothing like Paris. My dining strategy was to hit up a different boulangerie each morning and get a reservation at a different bistro each evening.

Why did the second bye week go away?

It depends on how the calendar falls for Labor Day.

If it was a normal down year perhaps. But I'm not really sure we have enough players to field a team. There simply might not enough left at some positions. Especially when considering butt hurt staff and the shell shocked who have been told they're overpaid.

I agree. It makes sense for someone like Miss St who has had a staff in place and is trying to take the next step forward and propel themselves into next season.

Auburn is in transition right now and doesn't need to focus on a bowl.

There should be a penalty in revenue sharing for teams like Auburn who opted out of this…

The only takes fined were Iowa State and Kansas State by the Big 12 because they were bowl eligible. Auburn is in the process of building a staff and doesn't have an offense installed. Heck, the new coaches are probably still learning names of players.

2004 Auburn refused to play an AQ OCC. Can't really complain.

Bowling Green dropped Auburn to play OU, and we picked up the Citadel at the last minute. This was the poll voters' excuse for saying Auburn beating LSU, UGA, and Tennessee (2X) was not enough to get in the top 2.

How many rushing yards did Notre Dame have today? I hate bama just like most people but there is no way they should be left out and Notre Dame gets in while sitting at home because they refuse to join a conference.

Notre Dame had 3 more rushing yards than Bama today.

Yurachek will cite this tomorrow when Bama is left out.

He's been working his arse off these past few days trying to retain the recruits and current roster.

This season is going to feel like riding a roller coaster.
