I'm only about 10 years older than Zac, but I definitely feel like we are a full generation apart. His jokes to me seem sophomoric, and to be someone who grew up in Lee County, he only seems to have true recollection of about the last 10 years of Auburn football history.

If it happened that would be his third stint at AU under 3: different head coaches (Tubs, Gus, DJ).
Has any other assistant been with a single program that many times with that many different head coaches?
4th stint. He was also a GA under Bowden.

Think about this. Think back to 2013. Going in to the Iron Bowl, what if we had had 2 or 3 SEC losses and would not have gone to SECCG or BCS if we won. Would the game have been called differently? Would there have been some kind of phantom flag on the Kick Six? Did both teams being in a position for post-season keep the officiating neutral? Who knows?
The fix was in when they added one second. Would Auburn have gotten the review had we been on offense? Boy, did that backfire for them.
Can't believe there have been this many posts and no mention of JFerg and Dan Peck.
Jason Caldwell is my favorite Auburn media person.

The support really is amazing. The fans quit on Harsin. Everyone remember how packed and rocking JHS was when Caddy coached against Texas A&M?
We knew it would be a rebuild, but we still tripled down on our love for Auburn throughout the Freeze era. 20 consecutive sellouts is a record, which will extend with Mercer and Alabama.
Pat Dye was right when he said "Auburn fans love Auburn."

Don't bet OU. Refs will make sure Bama wins and covers.

To be fair their QB, Sawyer Robertson, is pretty good.
I think Walker is 4th out of 5 QBs on the depth chart.
I miss the AU/LSU game being annual.

The year's Bama team seems to be vulnerable. No one would be shocked if Auburn won the IB in JHS. Durkin will save Freeze's job.

Is the facilities lot free to park at?
Yes

This may help: free shuttle service..
This. There are 4 off campus locations on different areas of Auburn and Opelika. Buses start 4 hours before the game and run through 2 hours after.
If you wanted to come to campus earlier than that, park in the facilities lot on the edge of campus on Samford Ave. You can walk into campus (~20 minutes walk to campus and ~40 minutes to downtown). Then, you can take the transit back to facilities after the game.

Other than the freedom of setting your own schedule and getting to wander like others have said, there's also something about traveling solo where you have time to reflect, definitely different from trying to reflect at home, etc.
Also, there's beauty in not giving a frick about what anyone thinks about you or worrying about what someone is going to say. Europeans in general are very chill. If they want to ask you about where you are from, etc., the conversation is genuine. In one of my trips to Europe, the most inquisitive people (in a nosy way) were Americans and Canadians.

I tried telling them Michigan and Auburn weren't very good teams either.
I knew after seeing them against us, that they weren't making the playoffs. Auburn looked like the better team in their own house. Look at Auburn now...
31-10. The dam breaks this week. I could see turnovers, the defense not giving the same effort, etc.
Crowd will not sustain behind the team for 4 quarters. No way is the atmosphere even close to what last week was.
