re: 2021/2022 nfl draft qb prospects - Floyd Dawg on 12/2/20 at 7:15 pm
I will point out that JT Daniels will likely be in the 2022 draft class as well. Depending on his health and how well he does in Athens next season, where does he fit in that class?...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: How good are mini tour players? - Floyd Dawg on 11/29/20 at 8:09 pm
I was one about 25 years ago. They're very good, but either don't have it mentally or financially to make it on a big tour.
I played in a Pro-AM about 10 years ago down at Bluewater Bay and the guy who won shot 63-61. BB is a shorter course and we were playing it around 6500 to 6700 but...
As I said in the other thread, as much as I'd love it to be so, these machines have been completely wiped clean and most likely by people that know what they're doing. Yes it was blatant, and crazy, but the likelihood of any valuable forensic data from that machine would be almost zero. It's ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: HS football playoffs... still on? - Floyd Dawg on 11/28/20 at 4:44 pm
My game today was much more competitive. Heard County beat Union County 31-28. Union County got on the bus at 6 this morning to drive 3.5 hours down to Franklin to play at 1 pm. It showed too; they sleptwalked through the first 1.5 quarters and were down 28-7. Came back and almost won it. F...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: I think I’m gonna sign up to ref high school football next season. - Floyd Dawg on 11/28/20 at 4:40 pm
I referee HS soccer in GA and started doing football for the first time last season. I primarily run the play or game clock; I have no desire to be an on-field official. But I thoroughly enjoy it and I have done playoff games both seasons....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: HS football playoffs... still on? - Floyd Dawg on 11/28/20 at 8:38 am
We kicked earlier than everywhere else in the state at 7pm. Walked off before 9pm. The on field officials knew on Tuesday that the game was at 7 and not 730 and didn't bother to inform the association or the chain/clock crew. I show up early (like I usually do) and find out the PCO wasn't comin...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
Why was the mail in voting expansion unconstitutional?
See Freddie Mac's post. Basically, to expand mail-in voting in PA required a constitutional amendment, not a "normal" piece of legislation. It wasn't passed via the amendment process; therefore, the law is unconstitutional,...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)

Turned a $300 Let it Ride bet into $50K. Hit a royal flush at Harrah's in Tahoe while attending a friend's wedding. That was 10+ years ago and they still call me offering to send the jet to pick me up and bring me out there. They want their money back BAD......Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
How did he kept his same zip code???
I think he means area code. My best friend moved from GA to WI and his family kept their Atlanta area cell phone numbers. I've had the same cell number since 2001. When the cell companies caved and offered number portability (or were forc...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Thoughts on Remote Work/Work From Home Long Term? - Floyd Dawg on 11/27/20 at 9:45 am
I'm a permanent WFH as I'm a OTR sales rep. I've done it for the last 20 years. Currently cover parts of GA, AL, and FL, but have covered an area as big as 13 states. My schedule varies enough that I'm on the road in a hotel 2 weeks, then home for a week. IT works well for me and I have flexib...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
Xcaret
I did Xcaret and Chichen Itza on my honeymoon 20 years ago. Loved the ecopark and the ruins were cool too. I'm amazed to learn there are hotels in that area now. When I went 20 years ago, it was way off the beaten path; we stayed at an adults-only Palace property nearby...
tf they get paid to do that in other states?
Depends. If the referee association assigns them, the yes. Many schools get volunteers and don't pay them.
