Well in the NIL era, it’s hard to recruit against the SEC. The SEC produces top tier next level athletes in a multitude of sports that isn’t seen across the board in other conferences. Texas also struggled with alignment.

Both of those seemingly aren’t issues currently so we will see what happens in the next 3-5 years. I think one of our teams will win something now that Texas is in the SEC and there’s alignment in the upper management in athletics.

No doubt will be. We may get Max for the postseason. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out when Jonah Williams, Max Belyeu and Adrian Rodriguez is healthy as there’s not enough spots for all of them.

He hasn't ever won a CWS

I’m optimistic he will win one with his ability to coach and get the best out of his teams and the money and resources Texas can provide.

It’s easier to recruit to a blue blood than TCU and A&M now that the program is in the best conference in college sports.

He hasn’t even gotten his guys yet and having success. I believe the program is in a good spot and in a better position than we were in last year.

I don’t think anyone that is a Texas fan really thought we’d win a CWS title in year 1 of Schloss. I think we thought it’d come eventually but not year 1.

Especially when his ex players didn’t jump ship to Texas.

I think our program is in a good spot. We have a damn good coach and hopefully when/if Max Weiner moves on we have someone that can take his place because he has done wonders to our pitching staff.

It’s called optimism and team loyalty. Who wouldn’t be excited to see their team win a game for the first time in over a year?

Man, they really do a number on you guys at that freshman summer camp.
Typical aggy behavior throwing money at something and thinking they are entitled to something else.

He didn’t say anything derogatory, nothing near the likes we’ve heard you spew here about his dad.

Take your L and stop being such a sore loser.
Especially with the teams they’ve won against being at Arkansas and at Tennessee.
If Georgia had better pitching they’d definitely be in conversation but I absolutely think Kentucky was tougher. They were just a thorn in the side the way they played baseball.
I feel for him. I have been so impressed by him all year watching from afar. He is a very energetic and pumped up pitcher that feeds off success and he just really struggled to find the strike zone.

You could tell when he walked into the dugout he had been itching to be in the position he was put in and he wasn’t able to deliver for his team.

This won’t be the last time Texas sees him and I’m not sure I want to see him later on this year with the chip on his shoulder. He’s a stud but today wasn’t his day.
Thank you for all that you do. I always look forward to coming here to see who plays where vs espn.

Happy Sunday everyone and here’s to a day of injury free baseball!
I don’t think anyone wants to pitch against you guys.

We’ve had our success for sure but it hasn’t been easy sledding.
And our recent spark plug (Jonah Williams) has been out.

Will be interesting to watch tommorow on how our Sunday games will be moving forward.
Or did he see the 12 and go for the W.

Texas takes the series.
Agreed but it looks like we will need him.

do you believe it’s inevitable Sark gets a title in Austin

That’s what I believe, if you keep stacking talent like Georgia and Ohio State and Alabama has, you’re going to run into a national championship. Before this year I’m sure many on this board thought Ryan Day would never see one. Hell they probably thought he’d be fired after losing to Michigan at the end of the regular season.

It seems like Sark is building something special. He has the resources available to do it and one of the brighter offensive minds. He’s not perfect but when you get giving your team a chance, a blind squirrel will eventually find the acorn.

y’all’s baseball coach is a BK clone.

BK best jobs as a HC have been at Notre Dame and LSU. Schloss’s best job before his three year stint at A&M was TCU which don’t have near the resources A&M, Texas, Notre Dame or LSU has.

I’d put money down on Schloss winning it all before BK.

Seahawks just found their Tush Push QB. If ya can’t beat em, join ‘em!
Hope not because pretty sure in order for that to happen they’d probably play us along the way.

FIFY. Let’s pump the brakes. We won’t be able to use Volantis tomorrow and they’ll be able to use Weston. Need our bats to come alive.
