re: Whether you admit it or not, anti-Bama bias caused Bama to be out despite vast better team

If Bama gad had 3 losses and they were all close type losses I would have no problem. The problem is they lost as double digit favorites to win 6-6 teams; Twice! You cannot excuse that, because of their brand! You just can’t and you know there is no way they would do it for any other team. It’s just inexcusable!

Vandy manhandled bama. Okl. took their lunch money and their women.
In other words, they won by 5 points. How would you describe a 28-14 loss?

Losing early can be overcome.
Losing late, especially bad, hurts.

No, losing games caused Bama to be out. Beat Vandy and Oklahoma next time. That right there.
Add Tenner to that list too now lol. I’m assuming that’s no longer a quality win l

There were a few teams better than SMU and Indiana, not just Bama

Think about it. The team that just got boatraced by OSU, beat your team. Give it a rest.

Pointing out losses is not bias. It is reality. The losses happened. Crap. Alabama fans have become more delusional after the fall than when they were good.
It's not bias to point out that Alabama beat Georgia.
It's not bias to point out Ole Miss beat Georgia.
And it's not bias to point out that Alabama got beat by 2 bad teams and a decent one.

Only teams that are thought to possibly be the top team in the nation should get in
Two things wrong with that statement. 1) That did not happen as we now see and knew before the playoffs started, and 2) There are not 12 teams that have a legit shot.

t's Bama's own fault
Exactly and nothing to do with our OOC schedule either or schedule being too hard as we lost what should have been the easiest conference games, we had on our schedule outside of UT.

Win and no one can argue them being in.
Yes, Alabama wins one more game and there in, but the argument can still be made we were still not one of the top teams in the country at the end of the day.

How many playoffs has bama backed into without winning their own conference? Anti-bama bias? Hilarious!
Just once: 2017, and they won the whole thing that year proving they belonged.
Every other playoff appearance Alabama won the SEC championship (7 times).
But keep on believing bullshite narratives about Bama without actually looking at facts. It proves the OP’s point is correct.

NOPE. Bama would have gotten crushed, creamed and destroyed just like SMU, Vols and Indiana. A very incomplete team.
Wake up and get to know the technical side of football a bit more. Bama is a single player team not built as a CFP team. Maybe next year if DeBoer can figure that out which I don't think he will as he is hasnt ever built an SEC style team successfully.

This soul searching in the depths bullshite thread of yours is embarrassing. Bama didn’t deserve shite after the inconsistent product they put on the field this season.

Bama lost to a team that just got boat raced.
They also lost to two 6-6 teams

Pretty sure it was that 3rd loss of the year to a shitty Okie team.

Were you one of the top 5-6 teams in the country? Probably not. Were you once of the top 12 teams in the country with a puncher's chance? Probably.
But they will always try to get teams in the playoffs from every P4 conference and certainly the conference champions. Then they will always try to get one G5 team in. Then you have all of the "good" teams that got "upset" in their conference championship game. And then the ND problem.
All of those factors (plus Alabama's bad losses) worked together to keep Alabama out.
Ideally, I think people would like to see the very best teams in the playoffs, but that probably will never happen because of the above factors.
Some people made the argument about keeping players engaged and stopping opt outs....then the Penn State kid opted out. Only one? Not bad. But the precedent has been set and now there will be more going forward as players recognize they really don't have a chance to win the playoffs.

Forget Oklahoma and Tennessee. All Alabama had to do is beat Vanderbilt. You would have been in
