Maybe the governor was right. Just pay the man off with state funds and send BK on his way. let the boosters pay the state back over the next 6 years. End this nonsense. Let a qualified business man negotiate next contract not a school teacher!

My question is. Why? What has he won again?
Governor is correct. If no one are group of individuals stepped up to pay off the huge ridiculous contract the state is on the hook. I am against the state being responsible for a huge payout to an individual coaching football. That money could be better served helping disadvantaged and sick children.

Why. Who the heck ties up the organization you work for with such a rediculous contract with no escape clause for failure? That is the problem with academia making up these contracts all over the country. Something has to give. Plus didn’t The AD not back his basketball coach in the manner that Alabama did? I think Florida was the first with these stupid contracts when they hired Spurrier which in fact worked out for them at that time. But how many failures across the country since? Many

All these schools have no business leaders that know profit and loss. Just academic idiots handing out these long term contracts with no performance requirements and escape clauses to end contract in schools favor if coach is abject failure like LSU and Auburn now have.
Woody like all other members of academia. No business sense. That is signing coaches to 10 year expensive contracts with no escape clause if coach proves to be a failure after a few years
Where does the money go? Into somebody’s pockets. Should be sent to an outside firm and distributed to select charities and well documented. May I suggest Danny Thomas Hospital, Tunnels to Towers and Shriners Hospitals.

University presidents can stop the madness if they had the balls. But they don’t because of money. Make athletes go to class take their own test and pass. After all these are supposed to be institutions of higher learning. Few would be eligible to play. Problem solved
To 95% of country these umpires appear to be following instructions. Only power 4 team particularly an SEC team worthy of the title.
I am pulling for Coastal now. You don’t through out two coaches in this game. Shows incompetence of umpires to control the game. Replace umpires now
