At least he's not nick sheridan

Glad you're back, no power sucks.

It's not just Mississippi. Here in Houston, power goes out anytime the wind blows. These big power companies only care about the bottom line and doing stuff as cheaply as they can. If people suffer every now and then, so what?

Gotta get a generator when we can afford it

Tennessee may lose the Orange and White game

If he continues to pursue the extra year, he risks (1) getting the TRO overturned either before the season or during the season, and (2) a much lower draft position both because he’ll be in a less productive offense AND because it will be a deeper QB class.

Dude is an idiot if he continues to pursue.

well said

Pursuing this and not entering the draft is a huge mistake, kid is costing himself millions for sure

Worst case is he gets the TRO, plays like 4-5 games and looks bad in the new offense, then it gets overturned, he has to sit out the rest of the year and doesnt get the rest of his NIL $$ from OIe Miss.

Then in 2027 his draft stock is decimated and he goes in like the 6th round

if we had an easier schedule.

Texas might be #1 when we play them but we get them at home. Alabama and TAMU will both probably be top 15 but again, getting them at home make a big difference.

Those three games will determine if we make the playoffs - I'm feeling pretty good

You must be new

They chose that so they can check to see if a 1099 was issued, and if not report your arse to the IRS

Just because it’s publicized, is it actually a net positive?

Of course

Any news is good news, any publicity is good publicity. Kiffin's high volume of social media posts are a great thing for LSU. Dominate the news cycle, flood the zone, force people to talk about or at least notice LSU. Where have we seen that before...Perception is everything and getting a chance to look successful leads people to want to come along for the ride.

It elevates the brand, which has huge intangible implications for things like future contracts, revenue, which leads to higher NIL and more success on the field.

Those Duece Geralds highlights are crazy

Cannot freaking wait for Clemson. Have to sell my motorcycle now, cant afford to die before I see these next 2-3 years

can we get a dollar total these 60 days have cost LSU?

Once you get your dollar total, subtract the total value creation of improving LSU's national brand and visibility, which affects everything from future ticket sales, merchandise sales, TV contracts, leverage in all negotiations with all stakeholders, etc. Feel free to start with the recent WSJ estimate of the football programs current net worth of approximately 1.2 billion dollars.

Then add multiples to the value creation number which represent the increased possibility of: 1) each possible national championship in the next 5 years 2) playoff appearances 3) SEC championships

After doing your calculation, you might find that you are looking at a negative number

Putting it in simpler terms, investing $ in winning future football games actually makes you money, you're not losing money by doing this. (even factoring in the time value of money and the significant chances of coach Kiffin banging a few coeds)
