30 years? 2008-2021 isn’t 30 years slick. A couple of really bad coaching hires set us back but Huepel has the ship righted.

Our 2 best RBs are banged up. While the QB is far better than we hoped, he’s still a freshman that hasn’t had a great passing game so far. And the Dline has been hurt all season. We don’t have a contain edge guy, and the DBs have been weak at times.
Texas should be able to just out talent and out depth UT in this game.

What was he supposed to do? Coach the playoffs and stay with the team until they are eliminated then announce the LSU deal.

Is he an elite coach? He 1st became a college head coach in 2009 and has coached zero playoff games. He’s an elite QB coach. He’s an elite self promoter. But as a head coach? Is he even top 20 since 2009?

I know, it doesn’t mean much but Tennessee’s week 2 opponent just didn’t look ready to go.
Yall can go independent for a year and join the big 12 or the big 10. It’s not the end of the world.
