I’m perfectly fine going with the worst choke job in reg finals history.
He played awful. 1-3 from the line?? He’s an 86% FT for a career (85% this year)
His worst performance ever, for his career in every category!

So predictable; you go 26/51 2 nights ago that’s about 48%.. but you avg 34.5% in the season; You knew they would force shots.. it’ll balance out always

What??? He was 3-17 from the field, 1-5 from 3, heck he was 1-3 from the line. 5 TOS. Are we sure he didn’t throw the game? Seriously, he either had the biggest choke in regional finals history or he threw the game!

So considering we have never gotten the 4 best teams in any previous playoff.. and we are going into New Years with at least 2 teams that don’t belong.. you would rather just, not actually let it be decided on the field ? Sounds like someone scared!

I know some just don’t want any more.. however, considering what we just saw. Would it really be that bad to have the following.
P- 4 champs get byes to the 2nd round (Dec 20 games on campus) + the next 4 highest ranked. Last week (dec 14) would be filled by 8 games made up of the G6 champs and the next highest ranked 10 teams.
I realize that the first round might be a blood bath, but it should make the 2nd round better and the quarters the real best 8 teams. ..
I know it sounds crazy , but you are only adding 1 week and 8 games, to get to a real playoff; with every champion, just like every other NCAA sport. You would have .
SEC- 7
Big10- 4
ACC- 3
Big12- 3
Ind- 1
G6- 6
Get Home games in..
Eugene, Athens, Austin, Happy Valley, South Bend, Columbus, Tempe, Clemson, Knoxville, Bloomington, Boise, Dallas, Tuscaloosa, Miami, Oxford, Columbia.
Eliminate the committee and ESPN talking head and just use results and AP rankings. Seems pretty simple…. Maybe eliminate Some of the smaller bowls.

I agree that the playoffs will work and eventually be better. They just screwed up the format. There should be auto bids, but not conf champ auto byes. Just rank the teams. This year was also made bad because they kept moving BSU up the rankings, while nit beating anyone., they should have been the 12 seed. Also, Tennessee played really bad and were embarrassed. Indiana just isn’t a good team complete fraud.
SMU was really affected by the wind, as was PSU; but PSU is built more on the run. The kicking game was nullified by the wind. The field was cut into a 20 yd box because no one could take shots, that really affected SMU more. It is what it is, weather happens; but I really feel it would have been a close game without the swirling wind.
Clemson- Texas was a good game, Clemson had its chances. Pick 6 taken off the board, Clemson belonged, they just lost the breaks of the game. It was a really good game though.

If Bama gad had 3 losses and they were all close type losses I would have no problem. The problem is they lost as double digit favorites to win 6-6 teams; Twice! You cannot excuse that, because of their brand! You just can’t and you know there is no way they would do it for any other team. It’s just inexcusable!

UGA went out and Won the conference and earned their way in. We weren’t looking for a handout at large bid, begging for 2 weeks with your boy Herbie and daddy Saban begging everyone they met!

AJ2 played 1 P4 team, the second week of the season. That being Oregon; whose rush defense is #35.
He then played 12 against G5 competition, the highest being SJSU at #79.
He also played more games than Barry Sanders. If anything , any all rushing records he breaks should have a huge *.
There was no way.
This is basically what Colt Brennan did at QB, by the way in the same conference basically .. most of those school are now MWC; but at QB instead of RB.

I don’t think he should be fined, but I’ve never understood why coaches complain during or after the games about officiating. I don’t think it helps and it might even hurt

Bama hadn’t been to Athens, since Mark Richt was head coach- 2015.
Meanwhile we’ve been twice to Tuscaloosa, all the other games in Atl or Indy. If you ever been to one of those Atlanta games is neutral as a game can be.

I really thought Kirk was going to cry and Saban was irritated for sure; but I will give him credit he came back later in the show and controlled his comments and sounded pretty logical.
I do think the comment “Here at Alabama, rubbed a lot of people the wrong way”. It’s his first year though, so he deserves a pass on that.
I thjnk he has done great this year and his interaction with Pat has made Pat not so annoying and pretty enjoyable. Game day was better this year than in a long time.
