I understand the game plan was, take away the run, play man up on D, and make Daniels beat us throwing the ball. The problem with it was, he was beating us throwing the ball. We should’ve probably given our corners some safety help. Especially against the 6-6 guy

14/19 142 yards and a touchdown. I understand you’re upset because the scoreboard doesn’t look good, but the problem isn’t Russell right now, it’s that defense. Offensive line aren’t consistently run blocking very well either.

I knew Thompkins was big and athletic, but I didn’t realize how athletic and how skilled he was at getting to the quarterback. I’ve said it before, but if he stays healthy, he’s a first round pick in the draft. 6’5” 300 pounds and athletic enough to play on the edge.

Devan Tompkins is the difference maker. #9 along with Pierre and Tompkins is why this pass rush is so good. We can finally get pressure rushing 4. Our safeties and middle backers are also good at timing blitzes.

I don’t see Daniel Hill as a problem at all. I will say his upside isn’t nearly as high as our 2 freshman, but he’s more than capable. I’d compare him to a Glen Coffee. He just needs to be used more. Just like you saw in the second half. He got 100 yards rushing against a decent Kentucky front 7

I wouldn’t write off Oklahoma yet. Auburn and Florida could both potentially be tough games too. Yes UGA’s schedule is probably on the easier side of an SEC schedule this season, but it’s still an SEC schedule.
Antonio Alfano was supposed to be a good one for Bama. Not sure what happened to him either.

I’d give the slight edge to LSU just because of the way they handled Clemson. But I could see this game going either way. It should be a fun one
