They’re definitely not a victim. They matched all offers. They got ditched for a hotter chick.

Who cares. He's your coach now. Move on.

I changed employers a couple of times in my career and was always shown the door right after. You quit, you quit.

Ole Miss is a bitch for being too insecure to let him continue coaching the rest of the season.
So what you are saying is, you would be okay with this scenario? Your wife comes to you and tells you she has a boyfriend that she will be leaving you for in January, but she would really like to stay through the holidays to see what good Christmas gifts you got her.
I'm sure you would say "sure" from the chair you have sitting in the corner of the bedroom.
There's not a scenario that turns Ole Miss into the "bad guy" in this LK fiasco. Like I said in another thread, if Lane was really about coaching this team he could have told LSU that he wouldn't be making a decision until AFTER his season was over. And if LSU thought he was worth waiting on, they would have respected that. Now who was the insecure one in this situation?

Well they damn sure won’t win it without him.

Look, you're the villain. Embrace it, revel in it. Be the Villain.

Well, how is LK the bad guy here? He was there for 6 years. Improved the football program and himself. Did a good job. Now he’s left for another job. He’s agreed to handle leaving however Ole Miss whatever terms OM AD desired.
What’s exactly is OM’s problem with this?

Because he was poaching players and coaches.
Ole Miss is not the bad guy. It's Kiffin.

Why are all the LSU fans melting down about this?

Very odd. He's on campus and recruiting for LSU. Go be excited for your new coach.

Trying to convince themselves that Kiffin being a scumbag is actually cool.

Bumping all these threads is going to be amazing when lane inevitably caves under the pressure to win big at lsu

Every single LSU fan that spouts this narrative has this chair in their bedroom:

I find it interesting that every bit of fake news that has come out of this situation since Lane was interested in going to LSU has come from the Ole Miss side (and Florida). They've literally been wrong about everything, including keeping your entire offensive staff.
Yet, you guys are still believing every bit of negative thing about Lane that is coming out of Ole Miss. I'm not even saying that he's NOT an a-hole for leaving. But, you're literally just buying into whatever is said from a place that has been putting out bullshite for weeks now.

No NFL owner will hire him. Too much baggage now.

Sure, sure. If Kiffin tells Louisiana State to frick off because I’m going to Alabama or Texas after stringing yall along for days and weeks, yall would say sure, stay and coach until the end of the season, that is the right thing to do
Louisiana State fans ladies and gentlemen. Proving themselves dumber than dog shite over and over

Do people not remember Nick Saban having to fire Lane Kiffin before a national title game because he was distracted by his new job?? But sure, guardrails and all. I'm sure he would be 100% committed to Ole Miss for a playoff run. I mean, he probably wouldn't do any kind of recruiting for LSU during that timeframe. I'm sure his focus would be all Ole Miss! Lol!
